hi patricia! great composition! (for the 2nd time) just a question, would you have the accapella of "he did it" in your drawers or another also "rock"! thanks in advance !
Michel
hi dude! the song is nice even if it's not my specialty but I have ears and it seems to me that your composition lacks a little "volume", to do with a more powerful mix!
good job anyway !
Michel
Phantomproduction thanks man! This is the un-mastered and un-mixed version of the song I’ll have the full mastered and mixed version on my YouTube. Hopefully it was fixed in the process of mixing and mastering I have not had a release date set up yet but I’ll let you know when it’s on there!
hi! why not write your drum patterns yourself? that's what I do, it's sure that you spend a little more time but it allows you to have your rhythm as you want! in any case it is a very good job!
Michel
I did NOT work with samples this are my own drum patterns !
I have E-Drum and there I am bouncing my recording and I am using RC-20 to get the sample touch !
for the the sound I am using Rubaddrum(https://www.westfinga.com/vstplugins)
LOL if it sounds like a sample this is what trying to achieve. !!
thank you for your kind words. I must say I don't know myself how it all comes together sometimes. But it seems to be a good intercontinental collab between me and Jynxz ;)
hi patricia! damn what a voice (as usual), great melody, PERFECT! (even if for me I would have liked a little more "rock" but your voice lends itself perfectly to this exercise) great great job Mrs!
Michel
Hi, Michel. Thanks and Happy New Year to you also. I think that next to "Hallelujah" and "Bird on a Wire", the song "Everybody Knows" is one of Leonard Cohen's most notable songs.
There have been a lot of covers done of Cohen's original, but the one by Sigrid was really unique. And entirely different kind of interpretation.
Cohen's original was kind of defiant.
Sigrid's version, to my ear, starts off communicating more of a defeatist flavour. Resigned to the inevitable. But, gradually as the song continues, the tone changes to become more strident and defiant. And then, settles down again in the final acapella part of the last bar.
Really, a masterful example of a single piece of music conveying a range of emotions.
