I like how the claps fade into distortion. Your vocal control and poetic prowess cant be denied. I appreciate rugged nature of the beat too. I feel like the vocal mix could be better. I know it matches the theme of the song. As someone who spends hours and hours in front of a computer mixing vocals, I have to say that control is the main factor for good vocals. I would recommend getting a very clean and well balanced vocal first, then adding distortion, filters or whatever you want to create the desire effect. Controlled chaos instead of perceived oversight. That's just my technical advice. Overall as a music listener I enjoyed the track, nice work.

yes, i have several years of experience with mixing and mastering and this was intentional, in the same way Tyler's new album "Igor" is intentional. "I would recommend getting a very clean and well balanced vocal first, then adding distortion" is exactly what you hear here.

Yeah, commercial releases is what I'm gearing up for personally. Have so many songs in development but it gets pretty pricey with renting beats plus they aren't custom or exclusive. I would always want to give credit and split profits and get the legal stuff taken care of with anyone I work with, and there are things in place that make it easy. I am very picky with beats after so many years of developing my taste. Maybe we can get some type of arrangement.

Go for it man I'd love to hear what you make! And I don't require that you credit me but even just a (prod. by only_hits) is always appreciated of course :)

As far as commercial releases, I haven't had that happen yet, but if someone wanted to release a song commercially then I would let them have exclusive rights and take it down from the places I have it available for download. I also let people pay a small fee me to produce exclusive/custom beats if they want one. Hopefully that answers your question?
