:-) There's that old school sound I grew up on and love. I really love your sound, but you already know that! lol I like what you've done here. This made me think of Babyface, I love Babyface. Do you have the muzic here on looperman? I'd love to take a listen. Good work, as always!!

my05 replied 7th May 2019 - 7 years ago

You are (as always) far too kind Patricia :-)

... but your voice (to my ears) have this touch of (to my ears) a truly classic voice with tons of "soul" in it (if i may call it that) and i do a little bit apologize my gawky attempts at making it justice :)

thx :)

on Do You Really Love Me - feat Patricia Edwards by JackLake

I believe the muzic and vocals are in different keys. Good dance vibes on the muzic! :-)

JackLake replied 6th May 2019 - 7 years ago

Thanks for the feedback Patricia! Do you think they are in different keys, how could you tell? I'll be honest, I didn't really think about that. I did pitch your original vocals up 3 semitones.

on Why the Angels Cry by bobjones2260

Ha! When this first started playing I was looking for strobe lights and a dance partner. Aw...this is so pretty. Why The Angels Cry is very sentimental to me, and you have handled it with care! :-)

on Snow falling on an old pagoda by MasanoriMurabayashi

Such a crisp work of art. Love the muzical detail, and the dance of each string. But I love orchestral instruments, the harp is one of my faves. You have done well! :-)

MasanoriMurabayashi replied 15th Mar 2019 - 7 years ago

Hi PatriciaEdwards,

I'm happy to see you here again!
Thank you for active listening on my tune.

I felt it difficult to making harp scale in music,
because Harp has many kinds (Pedaled, Non pedaled),
and performance styles, such as arpeggio, glissando, plucked.

I need more study on Harp instrument.

Hope you have a wonderful day.
