Dunno a thing about retro or modern, but this took me back to the 70s. I was only 3 one of those years haha, but it was fun times when people were more fly and free. There is a fresh breath of air here! :-)

Micky replied 6th May 2020 - 6 years ago

Thank You, Patricia,
fresh breath of air - that is what I had in mind when I did this tune. You know, driving down a beautiful beach road in a convertible with the stereo on, looking at happy people surfing, skating, biking, working out. Quite innocent, but that's me. Innocent me.
Thank you for your highly appreciated comment,
stay safe,
Michael

on DubJoka-Katherine Ellis Gimmie Sunshine by dubjoka

I like this! I really do.
There's something that is causing my spidey senses to flare. :-)
Maybe the horns? Too harsh, too much to often? Dunno, can't put my web on it.
Anyhoo...sounds goods.

on Sleepwalker 106bpm by SkyWalker580

I’m listening on my cell phone. Great energy, makes me wanna dance. :-) As I listened more I think maybe a change somewhere in here would make it even better. But good work.

SkyWalker580 replied 6th May 2020 - 6 years ago

I noticed the bass can barely be heard at all if you arent wearing headphones or have good monitors. Makes ya wanna dance huh? Thats actually pretty cool! never thought it would have that affect on anyone lol. I admit it was a little too repetitive. I had no idea where to go with it tbh. Thank you for the input btw!

Very nice. I like the placements of the vocals, subtle and not taking away from the muzic. Everything works well together and compliments each other. Real nice chill pill you got here. :-)

on Into the sky by Cumstain44

I simply love the orchestral instruments with the rock feel a lot, it gives this a really fun flair. The vocal seems to sit a bit away from the muzic, but I like this overall.

Thank you! I'm pleased that you liked the combo!
Yeah, he was one of the cheaper singers you can get on Fiver and I didn't really blend it in very well.
Thanks for the feedback! Have a nice day!
