on Symphonica - Heavy Remix by Abilify

Yeah this definitely is trap, but that snare at 0:14 is to heavy for trap, I prefer short snares in trap (I hope you know what I'm thinking of). I recently heard about sub genre named 'trapstep' so that could be appropriate for this track :) However, nice job done here :)

Abilify replied 28th Oct 2014 - 11 years ago

Thanks for checking out!

I guess I would have chosen that genre, but there is only Trap and Dubstep on looperman, and for dubstep it sounded a little bit too soft (in my opinion) so I chose Trap :D

Thanks again!

on Take over by dxvxnl

Whole song is just loops, or you made some parts? :) It's not alway easy to mix loops perfect, this is very well done!

Spoken word is nice choice for intro here! Yeah drop sounds a bit weird but it's still cool and unique :)

on Heartbroken by WongKiShoo

Well I think you didn't changed genre through the progress, it really sounds like deep house classic. I really like your work, just keep it up :)

WongKiShoo replied 5th Oct 2014 - 12 years ago

Ha.. thanks azzyko :)

If this is deep house, then it is only just lol. There is a lot of UK flavour in this track.

Thanks for listening :D

on looperman mix 2 by BlackLotusAudio

I like this but it's really overcompressed. I can hear distortion in few spots cause of heavy limiter/compression. But I like how you mixed it :)

BlackLotusAudio replied 4th Oct 2014 - 12 years ago

I listen again the track and noticed the distortion, for my next track i will keep in mind not to use to much compresion,

on bass cannon by churkendoose

Well if you make song just for your pleasure why do you care about others opinions? And my opinion is, this sounds very good though I didn't really heard dubstep :) More like electro or something...

churkendoose replied 4th Oct 2014 - 12 years ago

thanks

on MIDNIGHT RUNNER by RenzWilde

I see guys below said most things I think about this track. This is really cool old school disco/dance tune, minimal but it really has some special atmosphere. Keep up the good work!

Thx Azzy!

on DJ MeTalliX - Falcon Punch - Super Smash Brothers by MeTalliX

Yeah I agree with Livingsoulsdie little too overcompressed but sounds cool. I'll look up for some dubstep drop tutorials cause this sounds a bit unrythmic and rhytm of every dubstep drop is very similar, but just other sounds used. :)
