really good lead melody mate,,,,keep at it.....likin the synths you used a lot....gr8 track....just work on gettin that groove with the bass n kick.....(listen to "Jezper" with a song called "requiem" on youtube."
That will point you in the right direction,,.....
Thanx, I hear what you mean...
My bass is a bit static over the beats while on Jezper's track the bass is between the beats providing the groove...
Great tip!
wow! I love this...that panning bass sound is awsome....feels like it was zipping thru my brain......I closed my eyes like you said and the effect was amazing..and i haven't even smoked any weed! Terrific stuff..
You would never know it was ALL loops unless you told us...so a job well done i think! Gr8 work...that must have taken a lot of patience to make so many loops fit as one song.
Ok so the biggest thing i can fault is the bassline...just its too stabby. In a trance song the bass needs to flow with the groove...what I would do would be to listen to some pro songs but only listen closely to the basslines.......
Then when you done that listen to the synth progressions...
That will help you a lot...All in all the mix is pretty tight. Just a little muddy but your eq'ing will improve with the more tracks you produce so just keep at it....
yea i was was already planing on switching the bass...as for the synth... i knew it sounded weird so yea ill fix that as soon as i get some free time....ty for telling the faults
ooh i really like the bassline in this...funky stuff..would like to hear a pumpin house kick at the back of that bassline..Its good for your first house number. You defo have the right idea here...just work on the drums in this one...Dont get me wrong the drums are fine...its just i think for a house track to stand out the drums need to be wicked.!
Huh! well that's you off my xmas card list matey! ;) Seriously, I was expecting comments about the sax, cos I used a plugin. It's much cheaper than 2ft of brass with knobs on. No one's noticed, so I think I've got away with that one. With it being a more organic genre, I went for mellow beats. But point taken. I think the percussions ok, so I'm gonna try leaving that and just pump the bass drum a bit where the tune picks up pace. Hey! and please let me know if it's not enough! I'll tune into some of your house grooves too, to pick up on the vibe.
oo..err...I dunno bout that bit in the middle....it is really good..BUT....sounds like a totally different song to the other bit.....maybe make 2 songs...defo dont work together..(for me anyway..)
The synths are defo house!!!! The chords are lovely and flow gr8...The kick however needs major attention..Actually sound like the kick and synth parts need to be sidechained so one bounces off the other...coz right now they are both the same volume..But that will come with time...BUT to be honest this IS a house track! Nice job!
love that deep saw synth bass sound....really good mix of sounds that work gr8 together!!!! Great melodies too...bet this went down really well at halloween..
I really liked this from the first second...not house tho i'd say trance if anything. Reminds me of tiestos new style these days...the melody is amazing I think...could really use a vocal on it...that would just make it go from great to incredible!
Thanks for the review! Glad you enjoyed the song. I agree. A vocal track would really bring the track together. Just need to find someone to sing haha. I would do it if i were capable of it :\
Man I love the tone of your voice!!! I would love to write a house track for you to sing on.....listen to some of my stuff and lemme know bud! Love this track too..really well put together. Gr8 vocal..and great synth melodies....Cool mix on the whole thing too
wow! You have come a long way in a short time my friend. Well done for this and the way you have blended the adagio piece in works amazingly. Hope it does not get suspended..Favd!
I really like what u have done so far on this track. The vocals are stunning. You r right tho it does need more punch. Mainly on the kick and bass end. Watch your eq on the high pads as they are quite harsh on the ear in headphones. Maybe drop the higher end freq a little. Yeah defo needs more bass and kick. But has a lot of potential to be great..I'll keep ma eye on this one!
beautiful piano melodies mate! I can see why MMM released this one. Its right up their street! To be honest its too laid back for me but i cant take away the fact its a great trance track!! Well done man and keep makin music!
Again needs more. Its too short really. I think you should listen to more trance and listen to the way the songs by professionals are structured. That should give you some great ideas and inspiration for your productions! You have talent man..just learn more!
This has a great feel...however it needs more depth. And it needs to be longer. I love that little melody and its really catchy! Just needs more work ...keep at it!
5 years ago...sorry mate and thanks for comment!
It's been five years and I only answer to your comments ... I am ashamed and I apologize for that. Now I live in Poland and a lot of time (besides work) spend with his family. As I have more time to again, I created songs.
really really good 1st tranceer!! I would personally have liked the intro flow into the main beat with the same progression but thats just me. More vocal would be great too. But as far as getting the "trance sound" you have done that..apart from the wee techno bit at 2:14. But hey trance is a difficult genre so just keep doin this style and i reckon you could be great at it!
