nice chord structure in the intro.good solo start not too intricate, starts to create a melody. That is some extreme wah, but not to be undersold the drums are very stong. this needs some vocals indeed....as I am writing that, we get some spoken words.. nice, but not enough. 3:02 needs an ass kicking guitar solo. This is a perfect example of a good song that needs the screaming vocalist and the lead guitarist in action too complete it.\good work.
Cru
I totaly agree with you. I have one guitar that I actually never use besides when I'm drunk and also I've got an really great microphone that would use if I ever get the guts to try the vocals on my own.
I remember having posters of Duran Duran in my boy room during my youth. Their album Arena has formed my music influences I believe. But also The Police especially the album synchronicity and also David Bowies album Let's Dance, Alphaville - Forever young, the list goes on.
I work at home. I move around in my apartment and the pattern seem to be that the music is created in the sofa while the mixing is done in the bed. Sounds strange when i think about it.
Phil definitely has owned that reverse reverb snare sound for a long time...you sure nailed the 80s vibe here...big mix...a fine vocal by myst too...a nice journey back to the days......well done...Ed
I'm sorry c64 commodore 64? I used to compose on a commodore Vic20 when I was a kid in 1983. 3.5k with a super expander to make it 16k. Programmed in basic. square waves, 3 channels with 1 channel of white noise to simulate drums. I wish an example survived to this day.
Cool use of an old phrase.
Cru
Ok, VIC-20! Then you know about programming music, totally different from playing the instrument. Besides Vacuum, Programming music in BASIC must be the hardest way of creating music that I know. :)
If you ever released your tune in any way, demo or something the tune may be on the internet. I've found all of my old tunes even on youtube these days.
Hi!
Maybe there will be a continued development of this track. The seed has grown for quite some time now and I was just wondering if it's time for the next step.
Not anything I normally listen to but it was pretty cool. Listened to it on speakers and my wife really liked it as this is more her genre. She particularly enjoyed.
I never originally thought of those older games as having a musical influence...but I have heard more than a few that picked up on the vibe/concept ...and like this one...have taken it to a whole new level...much more musical and much more enjoyable listen than those original little tunes...you do it well Anders...and you are due for a new one.....realy great job on this one.....Ed...PS: If I tried to sing on it they would kick us both off Looperman..haha....

It sure was different back in the days. I can imagine what living as a big producer was like. Mixers, cigarettes and other unhealthy things ;)
Glad you took your time to listen and commenting.

Funny!
My history as a computer and game musician never wanna leave my blood so I have to face the fact that this is my music genre and it will always be.

Just browsing the comments and found that I haven't replied to this one. The original is good but it lacks the lead that I added in this one.
