the melody is cool!

you need only synchronize vocals on music... =)

Thank you.
And sorry. There is no need for further synchronization. It's the charme of laid-back melancholy.
Greetings.

The flute part is perfect on Long Ago. I would have little to add. As long as you keep posting tho I will look for opportunities to play along, if only for my own enjoyment. Thanks for the thought. . . UChris

Soluna, it doesn't matter when you compose it, I will always listen and enjoy. The flute part came in at the moment I went to get my Gm flute to play to this delightful piano piece. . . I guess I won't have to now. A perfect pairing, pefectly paired.

I nearly regret having recorded the flute part, since I remember some of my song you accomponied with your flute. I would have been curious about your ideas about this song. Give me some time and I'll try to upload a version that leaves some space for your flute (if you like to ...).

Greetings....

Oh wow ! I'm really happily surprised by the lovely mixture of the instruments and the pellas ! As Bear says, it's tenderly sweet, like a childhood remembrance . I listened to it with a smile til the end .
I'm delighted you used my stuff and offered me this very nice moment of happiness .
Kind regards,
Janis

Thank you for your kind comment. I'm glad you liked the track as it is always uncertain for listeners to suspect the context you had when recording the pure acapella.
Thanks for sharing your stuff!

Pretty imaginative use of Slap's "Joy to the World", kind of an early Christmas present for all of us :)

You've got skills my friend. I really enjoyed this one....extremely creative.

Thank you very much. I appreciate your comments as you seem to be very active here on looperman and you know a lot of all these people here !?
Well, I was really amazed of SlapJohnson as he remembers me of the early works of Jan Garbarek, which is one of my favourite musicians on this planet!
And beside that it was a sudden fortune, that all the mixed loops in this track do not only fit musically but also in content. "Many voices for the joy in the world !"

Absolutely beautiful!

Sometimes less is more and in this case, that is the truth. All you need is your wonderful piano and Romy's vocals. I love the intimate feel on this one. It's like I was in the studio watching you two record it live.

I love the understated brilliance of this one. Great job to both of you.

Thanks a lot for your comment! Indeed it was a pleasure to work with this amazing kind of vocals and of course this voice is worth to be left standing for itself.
Yes: Les is more!

Thanks a million for the sweet compliments!

Your song is also very sweet, the piano is beautiful. Too bad that I had a little bit of flu while making the acapella and in a delicate song like this, it comes through.

I like the changes you made to the vocals, it fits much better with your song like that.
Overall, nice work :)

soluna replied 9th Nov 2012 - 12 years ago
Don't worry about the flu-aspect ...
Sometimes non-perfection is charming !
I'm looking foward to more of your acapellas.
