What a great arrangement. So very thoughtful and sensitive - it simply brings out the very best of a very soulful vocal (she is such a great talent). This is one of those tracks you find difficult to believe has been put together in two very independent stages. You have an incredible feel for what is required and it's all played and put together beautifully. I am so impressed with this - excellent job. Congratulations.

Thanks for all your compliments.

Giving the illusion that everything was made at once is a very exciting game!

I spent a little time wondering how to make it sound. First I made a complicated version.
But as I was hearing to the arrangment, I wanted to remove something. After a couple of "cuts", this version is the simpliest one, though I still don't know if the keyb solo is necessary...

and finally i get around to this SWEET piece of work.

i very much enjoyed the intro, like looking at diamonds and gold and pearls... this was like walking in a mansion and once you're in, the inside is just as inviting as the outside. LOVE LOVE those switchups! very tantalizing for the muzical senses. awesome job with the clarity of the vocals, you cleaned those up nice!

Sweetness is why I described this track as a "r'n'bass" one: not really r'n'b (two fast), and not really drum'n bass (too sweet) ;-)

If you have a few minutes, could you please tell me more about this song? (I'm not sure to understand all you lyrics, my english is poor...)

I took a big pleasure again, trying to find something to emphasize your voice... I may post an update soon, I think some details can be improved.

cool beginning! that beat is very nice, kinda has a neosoul-ish sound, pellas do fit well with the atmosphere here. love the vibe!

I'm so happy you like it! I love your vibrato and the subtile treble in your voice.

You're right, it's rather nu soul than r'n'b.
While mixing this track I was thinking to Erykah Badu and Lauryn Hill.
If you consider we can do better, and wish any correction on the sound (maybe too much bass and the piano's still too shy...), on the structure or whatever, please tell me.
I will do what you want!

And if you have other pellas of this style, it will be a pleasure for me to contribute.
