The things you can do with loops! I need this on Saturday morning while I'm moping around trying to find excresons (excuses/reasons) not to clean the house. The music says, "you don't have to do it, don't do it." ...so I don't, I just lay there like a lump on a log and let the music take me away. Nice.

Thanks for using some of my vocal loops....I really like this jazzy track that you've made I really enjoyed the arrangement. Jazz and funk are two of my favourite genres.
That sax is amazing and works really well in the track.

Nice arrangement, very jazzy but without the confinements of many straight jazz tracks. Near perfect mix to make all aspects come together beautifully
djwazu
djwazu replied Unknown
Confinement is not part of my vocabulary! I am pretty sure it's not for you either. I started out in my teen years playing fusion and rock and I like all types of music so I let it flow my next upload should be a metal piece! lol thanks

nice man! very interesting track, took every sound available to you and made it work. electric guitar, synth, keys, horns, orchestral strings, all on one track haha. Much respect for finding a way to make all of these elements come together so tastefully!

Thank you man i appreciate that coming from you because I respect your music! I see you didn't mention bass, I am going to add that soon but it's got to do this piece justice.
Thanks again.

excellent jam! i would say just a couple of the fusion guitar loops you coulda left out..a little dissonance goes a long way..99.9% of this track was perfect to me. great job!
djwazu
djwazu replied Unknown
I'll take that under consideration, this one was rushed a bit.
thanks ;-)

You're so right, and I'm originally a bass player! There is some but bass loops are so hard to match, do you have any suggestions perhaps you may want to do something with this? lol until then I think I just may take the time and do this piece justice. You got me thinking about it now.

Btw the guitars are very well placed! Is that you or a loop?
djwazu
djwazu replied Unknown
all loops! I lined the loops on one track after I record the initial song then I over dub or record over the that track with the loops. I play it over a day or so until I know what I want, It's an unconventional way of using of using live but what the heck it works for me I kind of play the computer if you will lol.

Basically, find a sound I like and see if I can build on it. Sometimes it works out into something, sometimes I hit a dead end :-)

Or do you mean in terms of writtem music, like tabulature or standard piano music?
djwazu
djwazu replied Unknown
I meant hardware, how do your record your music.

Thanks john made my day! yeah rock is fine by me although it's all written on my Mac with Live 8/ Reason-Record or Garage band seldom used because it so freaking hard loading sounds into it. But got some real good stuff coming up in a day or so hope to hear from you. How do you write your music?
