Hey dude! no problem uploading the song, just specify Lauren for the vocals and Phantom live production for the music, but I think you will have better sound quality on my soundcloud (phantom live production)
Michael
hey Michael! when this things breaks open a third of the way thru, it rides a really powerful wave right to the end! it’s an exciting and really well-made song. my fav perf from the pair of you yet!
Very professional and polished rock band sound with superb guitar work, great groove, amazing vocal and a top class sound production.(this style of rock is not something I listen to so much but it reminds me of the band 'Heart'). Really well done : )
hey Michael this is great, i agree with Chris its more rock with a pop edge. genres are for anoraks really, the vox are red hot the sound production is great and its difficult to use vocals from another track and fit them perfect on new music ive done it a few times here with big pun biggie the specials pet shop boys and its a mess about to get everything tight. one of the main reason i started to write my own and TRY to sing :)) but i do love just sampling and adding my own bits and fx, thats what got me interested in this world, i'll never be great but i will eventually start writing bits in the piano roll. never did i expect to become engulfed in production, its because of this site and its people. this mate was a beautiful listen for me very well done
Hi Paul, like Chris I think you're right, this track sounds a bit more rock than pop (probably my hard rock roots resurfacing) but with Lauren's Voice I really like the rock side of her timbre!
Michael
Great stuff. I'm always suspicious when I see the pop genre but this is more rock than pop. It has a great drive to it, sweet guitars, excellent song. Congratulations man.
brilliant tune ... the groove is outstanding as those rhythm guitars ... in the chorus, I feel a little slip between the music and the vocals, but maybe it's just me... regardless, it's one of the best pop songs I've heard on this site...
fistbump, Danke
Hi Dank! when you dub a piece that was made with another music, it's not always easy to "stall" everything, especially when I don't spend a lot of time on it, personally it didn't shock me more than that, the ideal would be to put the song after the music but with Lauren it is not possible!
Thanks for your listenning and comment !

Returning the favour since you commented on my track, had a look through yours and noticed this funk one among a sea of pop, so I had to check it out as I do love me some funk. This does not disappoint, that bassline from REMCO is unreal, right up my street. Its complimented very nicely by the horns, like the rolling kick underneath too.
The track continues the same motif throughout, but lots of nice little bits of variation and embellishments to keep it interesting. Head is bopping as I'm listening to this. Nice introduction of the lead guitar, really nice playing and tone.
Awesome job dude, I'm not just saying that. Really enjoyed it, I'm thinking I need to get a bass guitar now lol!
Ive listened to a few bassist on here jynxs being my fav but dam this was real good all the years I have PLAYED bass i can only twang single notes to get that funk sound now my late unckle he could funk the bass thats where i got my interest from playing bass great tune from you and your friend.
I love that bass ......
That intro feels like a heavy metal intro; then it slams right into funk. Love it. Dope track. Bass guitar is phenomenal. Thought he was playing double bass pedal on the drums at times :D. The horn section is my favorite though. It ties and glues everything together.
holy cow ...thats best bass playin ever here...performance n sound.....seems a big change of style for you....really enjoyed this...hats off for you n your team
Okay my friend I got to ask you the same question Do you create a round of vocals or do you put the vocals onto the track that you created because that's the only way for me to create something the way I do is around the vocals and this much more fun to do it that way
Hi CC! no, I find a voice that I like and I compose the music around the voice! it has the advantage of being just in tone with the piece (normally if the job is well done)
Michael
Quiet here at the moment isn't it? That's the funky shit on that bass. Nice horns too. I wonder if it could do with a breakdown at some point, just to ease it up then bring that funkiness home again.. Or a vocal... Great track tho.
Hey Chris! I preferred not to clutter the tracks too much and keep the tempo until the end to really bring out his bass line as if I had worked with a voice! question of choice and taste! the magic of music is that no musician will make the same piece!
Michael
who dont like a bit of funk, got me sliding and gliding Bro in the 30 degree heat we got going on, its the start of a weekend of street dancing, graffiti, street art in my city Birmingham international dance festival, so this got me in the mood. i'll be showing this weekend for sure made the BBC website last year for my dancing 40 years been in this game, still life in this O.G.
the bassy bounce you got here is that old school swing great keys and precussion guitar is fly and the variation is great never drops its happening, the drums and cynbals just finish it off well, enjoyed my dance

What an interesting composition. There are a lot of instruments happening at once. When combined they put off a sort of Vegas type vibe.
Cool track, man. Thanks for sharing.
