Thank you arzu12345! Mentally and physically I worked very hard on this to get the energy I wanted. I wish it was recorded cleaner, but at the time I had a lot of negative activity going on. So I quickly did a makeshift recording. Pressure sucks! But wonderful things can sometimes come from it. Always look for the joy. :)
Not compressed or mixed will i'll see what i can do i wanna add a trap feel to it im sure you dig it but connect with me on twitter @ www.twitter.com/saywhatiwant91 and email me at travlifemusicgroup@gmail.com im doin it now
being of an analog sympathizer, reminds me of the stuff of early electronic era. Bumpin bass, 808 tsk tsk tsk and sweet swells is what blew my old man's Sansui 12's back in 86. A trip back in time, nice one :)
Thanks scorpius! I'm glad you could reminisce and apologies for the delayed reply. I was on the site then something happened... I think it was about the time I had a couple of music projects going. So I stepped away and am just now reading through the archive of reviews and comments that I missed while I was away. Peace to you and glad you enjoyed it. Rock On :)
With the advent of the microkorg, am convinced they've been here for a while now. Rockin piece, luv the bass drops and vocoder is fun, look forward to hearing more, should try more 'abduction tech' pieces myself, cheers
geez KAMOUTERA.....thats some big fat sounds from that little synth...did you do some editing on them?....I`m a bit dumb about synth programming but you`ve got some very thick sounds going on here.....That little voice didn`t have me fooled for a minute...those suckers are deadly...I had been hoping for some of the more shapely & scantily clad alien types that wanted to be friends but I think I`ll lock the doors & windows tonight....very nicely done...I`ll be back & catch some of your other renditions when I find a bit more LM time.....Ed
Very cool story! Yeah, them little buggers pack a punch. As for the Microkorg... It does create those huge analog sounds. I used a Digitech Vocal 400 for the vocals, but the rest was the Microkorg patched to my computer and utilizing Cubase SE software. That was a long time ago... Mid 2000's. Thanks for the Listen.
Thanks so much for your appreciative words. I've been away from this site for years. I'm just now making my way back. Enjoy it! I enjoyed making it. :)
I was in the mood for an ambient piece, and am really glad I chose this one to listen to.
I really like the arrangement. The texturing you do behind everything else gives it a dimension that really works. Meditation music with a beat. I like that.
Thank you so much for the review. I am glad you enjoyed Ambient Heal. Your Carnival Industrial piece I listened to was really a treat. Thanks for the Listen. I'll see you around. Take Care.
This is cool. I've always liked ideas like this in terms of a nice background melody or atmospherics with a touch of vocals that tell a story. I liked this, its really cool. Spoken words are great and the vocal is nice, really good "sound" in the voice. Only gripe was a bit of over reverb and delay, would have been cool to hear the delay only at certain parts to create a "carrying" effect to accent certain words. But, in any case, great work and I definitely liked it. It reminded me of one of my favorite movies called Primer. The way the vocals go with the music. Its great my friend. Heard it multiple times.
Hey Sien :) Always a pleasure to read your reviews. You really take the time to put forth an honest effort in describing what (music) my music does or how it effects you. Greatly Appreciated :) Seems like you enjoy the fine tuning of people's work. Making sure everything fits and flows together like a well balanced pendulum. (I don't know where I got that analogy from.) Anyhow... Seems like you're one of the more experienced users at this site. Nice to know. - This site really comes into it's own if you put the time into it. Glad to know there's dedicated and interested members such as yourself here at Looperman. I'm progressively getting more experience at this site. It's fun and has a unique site format layout that is definitely all it's own. Reminds me of GarageBand, but a lot more intimate and network/cross referencing oriented. Guess I'll have to listen to some more of your tunes in hopes of having that crisp studio sound, rubbing off on me. Good to hear you, Sien. Keep in Touch :) I could use a reviewer, of your interest, along my road for future press releases. Off I go now to have a Listen :) CHEERS :)
Those are some nice effects on the drums man. Really cool. I really like how it progresses though I do think maybe it needs 1 more instrument to play a bassline or a lead. Still though, I like it.
This is entrancing man. I like how the drums play with the pads and the lead synth. Very nice work. I can't say anything else, except that it is a very good track. Keep it up, will certainly listen more from you.
This truly makes me emotional in the sense that it tends to create certain mental pictures of some memories of my past. Gives me a great feeling really nice guitar and excellent effects are used for sure. The vocals I could not really hear too clearly, but they add a certain quality to the overall mood just like that. Clear as well, very nice man.
You're my Ace. Thanks for the touching review. I'm glad it emotionally moved you. That's what makes me feel good when I hear that My Music has inspired, touched or opened a person's heart. That's what I really like to do. Show people my heart. Aloha :)
lol so whats with the pops in the beginning?
Phaser works nice, vocals are a little soft and need to be brought to the front a little. There's a little distortion over the whole track - unless that was the plan?
Voice was nicely used man - instrument like :)
Keep it up bruv :)
God Bless
Steve
Appreciate the review. The recording is rough. I had so many ideas at the time that I decided to run with the moment. New ideas kept coming and I kept pressing myself. Playing all the parts can be trying as feeling against or with yourself can be quite the hectic compromise. I was satisfied with what I created. I'll then grow from what I conjured, become a fan and then play it better than that guy who created it. "Making that Stranger my Friend" :)
Thanks man. My Nephew inspired this song many Moons Ago. It was a fun song to make. I had to play to the effect I was using processor which proved to be a challenge since it had a certain tempo that I had to make sure I stayed in time with. Thanks for Listening.
Great track dude!! It's very lo-fi sounding and your voice from what I can hear sounds pretty good. If I could make a small suggestion, I'd turn up the vocals a bit. Other than that it's a cool track, wicked solo btw ;)
