I second melodysongbird's comments. This is an engaging song that takes you to a corner at a dimly lit country dancehall with some old time strolling and belly-rubbin,' caution-to-the-wind in your plaid starched shirt and straight-legged jeans all looking like George Strait. yahoooooooooooo....vigwig
The name of the song definitely fits, although I'm not sure the genre is rock. What I like about the song is that it has a soundtrackish feel to it so it could be fitting as a background music, but on the other hand if you want this to be a real song you would need vocals, because without them it sounds kind of monotone.
I am not so sure about movie track, but it can be good rock song,of cors you would have to rework composition a bit.just one constractive "critisism":i think voice doesnt "sit" well in a mix, pops out a bit ,if you catch my thread, rest done well, regads!
Really cool little tune man!
Id love to have a go mixing this and maybe adding a little guitar if you could upload the individual tracks. Im sure some others would be interesed in mixing it too! it would be interesting to listen to the different mixes.
This one for sure needs no rap part.
It is cool like it is
I really enjoyed the listen!
But if you still think you need something to fill the instru part, try a solo and or some La La La (or Ho Ho HO or Hey Hey Hey Hey or a mix of them or something else) singing in this same fresh style. People love this sort of parts. They can sing to them and even don't have to know any words at all.
super cool pop/punk attitude and music here...on my humble opinion, it doesn't need any (shit) speech...:-)
it works on it's own and it's uplifting, happy, fantasticly positive...
tbh I struggle putting a genre to my tracks as I don't really work to one, hope that doesn't sound arrogant as it's not, I just make the songs I like, and I would chill out to this kind of song lol,
what a wonderful track! it's an unusual choice and it was a great surprise listening to it!
the fifties are back! you made this one successfully! the AM radio filter on your voice bring a brilliant result! and this classical bass line typical from this period: mmmmm good taste :)
Thanks for the comment, I've not tried using reverb yet, I'm still pretty newbto this though, will have a play with it soon, see what I can figure out haha
Hey man, sounds nice, although the mixdown could be a bit better (the background is a little bit to loud i guess), but otherwise it sounds really good. :)
Hi mate, thanks for taking time to comment, I was going for an oldie type sound so it's got a AM Radio filter on the vocal, I see where your coming from though :) glad you like the song,
"At the football, I learned some words. I can't use them in school." LOL
This is pretty a pretty great track. I'm taking baby steps to coach my daughter. She loves messing around with my MIDI keyboard and singing. She's 4 currently.
Love seeing parents share their interests with their child and letting them be part of something, opposed to just throwing them in front of a screen. Good job boys! :)
Thank you for your kind words, I may have to invest some cash and go record it properly in a professional studio, my set up at home just isn't capable of doing the job, that or I simply haven't got the know how lol
