Funky indeed... the drum volume need to be lowered but all else is great. I really like this track bro. The vocal shouts are a good addition.

really good tracks even if i have true differences about sound level between the bass / drums section and the others instruments (like guitar riffs and vocals).

the bass line is awesome, warmy and rounded as i like. Sometimes it's worth going out of his comfort zone, the proof!

The snappy percussion really feels like you're being attacked in a good way.
I really like the piano riff as well.
The ab libs are a nice touch throughout, especially with the echoes and the panning.
I feel that a little more dynamic diversity would have added so much, especially because this is 4+ minutes, a little bit on the long side for something with this little material - 2-3 minutes would be best imo.

Loved this one, guys! To my ears, this is Neo Soul. I immediately "heard" a vocal melody line that would work with it and started singing along.
