Another musical biscuit! :) This is really good! Great stereo mix. My only comment might be that I wonder if the lead vocals could come up a bit when it's over "busier instrumentations". During those parts the lead vocals sound a tad in the back to me. Overall though this is super solid and a fun listen. Thanks for sharing.
Indieground, thanks for your words mate, appreciate it. Im a huge fan of dub, this track is dubwise, bubbles on the organ are done well. Do some dub myself on soundcloud (hence the username) if your interested. Its all free not commercial. Ye me too im gonna have to pop back to your profile and check some more of your tunes. Expect theres many meanings in boombap, but i class it as lofi/dirty hiphop. All best bi gup!
thx for your curiosity mate
70's dub is a hardcore drug for me. I'm trying not listening too much of that style of music because if i'm starting i don't know how to stop listening it !
i'll check your soundcloud right now
cheers
Freekin' cool guys! Great musical buiscit. The git at the beginning has a Pistol's feel to it. You won't hear any complaints from me if you keep up the trend. Mix is great, you guys brought your own thang to the paartay! I ate the lead up!
Did you ever hear the Clash doing early hip hop, early 80's. Mostly inspired by Mic, they were working with an early NYC rapper called Futura 2000. I ran upon this back in the day but now that you tube has mostly everything on it, it's a great resource to turn people on to some cool stuff.
Oh yeah mate, i'm a urge LCash fan you know i've got this futura 2000 track in 7inch !
I love The Clash and particulary their sandinista period from Mag 7to the EP radio Clash. I would even go so far as to say that this mixture of genres greatly defined my approach to music.
And your totally right about the pistol guitar style that's definitly what i had in mind.
This is super solid. I enjoyed it! I used to listen to Big Audio Dynamite back in the day. This makes me want to listen to them again. Thanks for that!
Very cool track! I'm a drummer, so I noticed the nice natural sounding drums you did on this. Were they samples or live drumming? They sound good, it's nice to hear some fills! :) Keep up the great work!
Thx for your feedback
For all drum part i'm using Addictive drum from XLN audio.
I generaly think my track that as a track can be played by a real band so 'im more live drumming related.

BAD c'est très 80's dans le son... Je te conseille d'écouter aussi des lives. C'est comme ça que j'ai appris à les aimer en ce qui me concerne. Merci pour le commentaire
