1. Open Fl Studio's mixer.
2. In the Mixer, route insert 1 and 2 to insert 3
3. Rename insert 1 'Vocal' and assign any vocal sample to it.
4. Rename insert 2 'Synth'. and assign a 'Harmless' synth.
5. Rename insert 3 'Vocoder' and assign a 'Vocodex' plugin.
6. In Harmless, drag the master pitch down to -24. Turn the Frequency and the Resonance all the way up. Add a 'Warming' compression. Turn the compression level all the way up. Add a classic chorus type. leave the chorus mix. Turn the harmonizer mix all the way up and make it 'Harm-up' and 'Pre-phaser'. Turn the grit level to 35% and turn the filter env amount to 0%. Make the filter type 'Classic low pass'.
7. In Vocodex, turn the wet level all the way up. Turn the 'Modulator sidechain input number' to 1 and the 'Carrier sidechain input number' to 2. Depending on the pitch of the vocal sample, alter the modulator pitch shift to your preference.
8. Go to the 'Harmless' piano roll and input your selected notes. try to experiment with sliding notes too.
9. Go to the playlist and place the vocal sample and the harmless synth pattern in it. Make sure you don't place them one after the other.
10. Press play and enjoy.
