i think the technical term for the added ambience you notice on my track is reverb, its an effect to make the audio sound in a bigger or smaller room.

Im just an amateur mate, Im just messing around on my computer rather than trying to make stuff better. Its all just fun for me. I had no special motive for changing your vibe. It was just what i felt in that moment. had i made tune on another day i might and probably would have been very different.

im really just experimenting and trying to learn about music.

I thought your voice was good but the levels were very weak in areas and too high in others, so so that it didnt overpower the music at times then disappear behind the music at others i passed your vocal through a process to levels it out then i tried to unmask the parts in the mix and then i used nectar plus to polish the vocals.

now im really average in my music theory and my mixing skills and im just a beginner having fun

So i wouldnt be getting worried about your vocals coz my mix doesnt sound great.

the only thing about your vocals that was hard to work with was the gain levels of the audio

it wasnt compressed, which is fine, but after you compress the vocals to closer gain levels all over the song then it can change the tone and ambience. if it isnt compressed to similar gain it will not sit in the mix particularly well, too loud here too low here and repeat. thas why compressing it is needed at times but it will alter the vibe if your amateur like me

combined both parts into an experimental with mental being more than the expert part :P

Stuck your vocals through a dragon vocal synth and tried to sync it to a track using a different mixing/master setup turning knobs randomly till it sounded as best i could get it.

the vocal synth adds a loud grrrr to the breaths

i thought it sounded quite interesting, sounded like you were gonna take off at bits :P

I also heavily processed the phrases to suit a different style from your original file and jumbled up the poetry a little different with a new ending

Im just learning music theory from the book so its not so easy to find best chords to fit the mood and my tempo rythym is not very good but it was great learning experience to try and sync the acapella on looperman to music.
