Really liked this melancholic acapella. Great vocals and a genuine sadness. Here is a version I made this evening... though I really should have gone to bed. But I wanted to get this draft done. I use an old laptop and the freeware LMMS... and since I did not want to wake the rest of the family... its done with headphones on... which sometimes makes for a questionable mix. Hope U like it anyway!

You clearly channel these lyrics - your songwriting is so very good. This is your best ever piece. The blended vocals are really blow-away wow. Nobody can hit the sad, melancholy,pensive or whimsical spot better than you can with your emotive vocal. One thought....There's a sadness that goes through your music, (well the bits I have heard). Have you ever considered writing something from the angle of unferrered joy? You do sad/reflective so on-point I just wondered if you would foray on another path every now and then. That's not a criticism, far from it. I would just love to hear it, if you do. Your voice puts alot of famous peoples' to shame - please keep going, your voice a gift to the world. Kay0s

Thank you so much for your kind words, they really mean a lot to me!
Honestly, in the past, Ive tried composing and singing more joyful, fun tracks, but it didnt quite work out. Ive realized that being true to myself is what works best. Ive been on a journey to find a style that really aligns with my soul and mood, and I feel like Im doing much better with the direction Im taking now. That said, Im open to trying new things in the future, even if itll be a challenge :)

Thank you for your kind words! Some of the lyrics were written 5-7 years ago, and a few of my close friends contributed as well. Its truly been a team effort :)
