Description : A track I made for a contest on freelancer dot com. I wasn't aware of it until almost last minute and had to rush three entries. You could enter as much as you want. I really wanted this version to win out of the three I made. Very pristine vocals from a singer named Eliza Smith. The contest has been over for a while so I don't have much of the info anymore. Probably do but don't feel like looking it up. So anyways, this is sort of deep house/chill out type of track and remix of her vocals. She also had an original song to her vocals and entrants job was to remix in the style of another artist. I forgot the artist name. I tried my best but it's more in my style, my third version was probably more similar to the artist we had to mimic

I'm looking to go in a Rock meets Electronic or Dubstep direction, but I'm open to ideas. I have lyrics for a bridge, but it doesn't sound right with just a piano. I need amped up instrumentals. I really want to bring the pre-chorus ("everybody, c'mon, everybody") back at the end, but up an octave up in a belt with some heavy guitars possibly? I really want to amp up this song. Description : This track was made from the stems for a remix competition and the original track was made by an Australian group the "Temper Trap". I guess you would call there style either Indy or rock and they have had a lot of success here while just starting to break into the international scene. I had some great vocals, synth beeps (that I highlighted more than the original) and guitars. I added the beats, some bass, bass synth and fx.

Description : Chillout, funky fat 95 BPM organic electro led by some fun, tinkly arps. A bit of an organic, tribal feel, especially when the flutes are playing, and some fat smooth synth basses, plus a big fuzzy one later on as the track gets bigger and heavier. Slide resonator guitar in the second half, including a dual slide resonator solo (2 different resonators playing simultaneously sort of duelling with each other). A few drum loops but mostly 3 programmed acoustic kits. The heavy, double time drumming before the flutes return around 3:53 may be a bit unnecessary (I'm not sure, let me know). Interesting reflections, praise, suggestions and criticisms welcome and appreciated. "Nice track bro"-ers can save that unhelpful type of comment for another track (or 50). I hope listening to this transports you to a magical place, even if it is for only a few minutes...
