Description : And yet another track in which I have used the creative acapella's of Steelyvibe. Man am I glad these exist :). It's become a little tale of which I do not know what it is about. A bit weird maybe, but it is all about atmosphere.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks, Doc

Description : This track started as a result of an improvisation on piano and finished as a ballad kind of track.

Vocals by the beautiful Stephanie Kay
Sax by Slap Johnson
Outro guitar by The Music VII.

Thank you all!

The sax at 3:14 isn't mixed too well as a result of downpitching 5 semitones.

Feedback or suggestions on improvements is highly appreciated since it helps making my tracks and skills better.

Cheers, Doc

Description : I was playing around with an 80's like EP when a few chords and lines came out. It turned into a ballad like track, guess I was feeling nostalgic in a way :). When I went browsing for matching vocals, the I listened to was a hit. I used Farisha's acapella (and found a second one of hers to complete the track). Ballad like songs are not necessarilly within my comfort zone, but hey, why not try?

Many thanks to Farisha!

Description : Finally, after over 2 years, I am submitting a new track to Looperman again. For this track I have used several loops and acapella's from this beautiful site. Thanks to:
- Steelyvibe
- Polimar
- Nightingale
And a special shout out to Franco Quadroni (aka ferryterry) for playing some licks especially for this track. All much appreciated guys!

Steelyvibe's vocals gave it a special feel. I love these processed voices.

Let me know your thoughts and ideas for improvement.

Thanks!

Description : Although I certainly do not consider myself a hardcore member of the Looperman community, I like to post my tracks here. Not to satisfy my ego (well, OK, just a bit) but mainly to show appreciation for the vocalists that I so often use in my tracks.

This time I have used the vocals of, again, Shamoozey and also Lily und Wulf. Many thanks for that! Without you guys, my tracks would never be finished :-).

If you would like to give feedback, please feel free to do so.

Description : I always find it so interesting to experience how a track moves into an unexpected direction while creating it, just because of adding vocals to it.

Before I added the great vocals of Epic Record , the track was mostly about just atmosphere. After adding, all of a sudden, the atmosphere changed, the feeling changed, but still in the same context.

I had to process the vocals a bit to make it fit the track (120 bpm -> 110 bpm, different key, second voice).

Thanks for listening,

Doc

Description : A while ago I downloaded an acapella by Rose-Erin (roseerin), but could not find a good way to use it. I was so glad however I donwloaded it back then, since it fitted perfectly in the track I just finished, and Rose-Erin took down her acapellas. The delayed vocal is how she uploaded it.

To the end of the track I experimented somewhat with a few choirs.

As always, I am curious for your thoughts.

Many thanks, Doc

Description : When I visited Manhattan earlier this year, I found a very nice coffee shop called Cafe Angelique, just across the street (Grove and Bleecker). Every day I started with two large cappucinos, outside on a little bench, at sub zero temperatures (it was a very cold winter :-)). This daily rythm inspired me to make this track.

Thanks for listening.

Description : When I started producing about 3 years ago, I was sure I would need a master keyboard to play everything I needed in my tracks. But as thing happen, I never hooked it up and just used my DAW and mouse to create the tunes. In a "crazy" mood last week, I did hook up the master keyboard and something like a solo came up. I recorded it, put some chords and drums around it and a new track was born.

Thanks for listening!

Best, Doc

Description : The title refers to to the end of day as well as to the end of everything else. Next to the energy I found there is also a lot of sadness and lonelyness going on.

I used the remarkable vocals of Shamoozey again, but only a limited part of his recently uploaded acapella.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Many thanks, Doc

Description : A new track of which the style is a bit unclear. Some chill out, some acid unfluences, difficult to articulate, but electronic.

I used Eshar's "Unspoken Rule" acapella. Although the recording quality is somewhat off, the lyrics and tone of her vocals are just great! Thanks Eshar!

Description : During my visit to Manhattan in January, I got inspired to do a series of tracks based on my impressions. This is the first part on The Village.

Many thanks to FerryTerry for the guitar and sax solo's!

Apologies for the 190 bit mp3 upload.

Description : New track which is all about atmosphere. Both vocals add to that massively. Thanks guys for letting me use these. I know that because of the mixing they're hard to understand, but that's what happens with atmosphere :-).

Let me know what you think.

Description : Every now and then I make a track with a male vocal, where as I usually use female vocals. I think that Know Kontorl's vocal is great and I wish it was a lot longer so that I could have used a lot more of his material.

The track has some Massive Attack influences, but sounds like a love song every now and then too.

Please let me know what you would have done differently or what you like about the track. Open to comments as always!

Best, Doc

Description : Just finished a track using two guitar solo's by Ferry Terry. Many thanks for that!

Don't ask about the name :-).

As always, feedback is more than welcome!

Description : Here's a new track I just finished today. 65,5 or 131 bpm, whichever you llike best :-). I used the beautiful vocals of Romy Harmony (first time for me, thanks Romy!) and some clarinet loops provided by Slap Johnson, quality assured. Many thanks to the both of you for the great quality recordings!

Description : Last week I finished a new kinda lounge track in which I used the beautiful vocals of Patricia Edwards again. The quality of her recordings makes it very easy to use them. I also used a few wood wind solo's by Ferry Terry. Thanks a million to the both af you!

Description : I started this track with a bunch of Rhodes samples from a fellow Rhodes lover he created himself. After a long, long time of expertimenting, this is the result.

Vocals by Janis71 and Paulkeus. Many thanks!
Rhodes samples by Trigg.

Description : This track started as an easy listening lounge kind of track. When I put in JJ Weekz's vocals, it turned into another direction. Next to JJ Weekz, I used vocals of Shamoozey and a flute solo by Mhyst. Thanks to you all for this!

I am not sure if the vocals go together very well, but I liked the atmosphere of the combination. I received feedback on the drums, they could be spiced a bit from the second part of the track on. Let me know your thoughts, I'm very willing to learn.

Description : Dear LM fellows,

Just finished a new lounge track. This time I used the beautiful vocals of Katie Bregman (kbb0), sax by Neongroover and woodwind samples of Planet Jazz Bass (don't know the intrument unfortunately). Many thanks to them.

Hope you like the result and only thanks to your comments I will be able to improve myself every time...

Best, Doc

Description : I was playing around and experimenting with some beat and an acid bass line, when I stumbled into Shamoozeys little acapella. I think it fitted the somewhat weird context of the track.

I am honoustly interested in your feedback to be able to improve my skills. So, if you have any comments, please let me know :-)

I tagged the track as electronica, because I really wouldn't know how to describe it.

Description : Hi all,

Here's a first try to make something funky house like. Usually my tracks could be labelled as lounge(like). This is a more upbeat track with some deep funky soulful influences.

I have abused the Looperman community more than ever for this track.

Many thanks to all contributors.

Comments and feedback are, as usual, very welcome.

Cheers, Doc

Description : I was playing around with some beautiful sax samples by Slap Johnson for a track I wanted to use in a contest of the Dutch Synth Forum. Added some sounds from Lush 101 and Nexus and it resulted in a down-tempo track (88 bpm, I don't believe I have ever done a track that slow :-)) about a specific recent victory.

I hope you like the result. Feedback about the production or arrangement is very welcome.

Thanks, Doc

Description : Like Waterfalls is an up-tempo lounge track that I finished in August this year. It is about love and having lost. Lyrics and vocals again by Carrol. The beautiful flute solo in the break is from TZA 1800. Many thanks to the both of you!

Description : A minimal kind of track using Badword's acapella "Old Days".

It is partly a tribute to Neil Armstrong.
