after the break i decided to crank it up a notch and added some extra beats and a heavy bass line - starts to go a bit drum n bass.
Decided to go back to this and master it, now that i kinda know what im doing. Should have a clearer, fresher sound. havent bothered changing the instrumentation. If anyone wants to colab with me on this one, give me a shout. the current vocals are way out of time, so really want someone to have a fresh go on it. its 92 bpm.

Grotesk on the vocals again, some nice turns of phrase on this.
I think the strings give it quite a sleepy quality. Iv kept the beats quite mixed up and left the bassline fairly simple.
I was aiming for something like daedelus - something a bit off beat.
Used some scratch samples from the main man Donnie Vyros and Moe93. Not sure if i have overdone it?

My laptop was fooked so i havent managed to post anything for a while. Have a few different ideas on the go and this is the first one i have managed to complete. Quite pleased with its mentalism, i have some hip hop beats, dubstep sub bass and some electronic effects in a kind of glitchy 32bit style that make this track very different to anything i have done before. That said, i still would like some kind of vocals on there, but cant find anything in the 110 tempo that fits. its basically a cobbling of a few different ideas.
No samples or loops, all done from scratch. trying to stretch my loopermuscles.

Description : I had this track built around those beats and the bass line, but couldnt finish it. i found Hektors vocal, which wasnt exactly what i was looking for but i think it works well. added some strings, guitar and a few rearrangements and im pretty pleased with it. The beat drives it on, and the bass line is pretty insistent, increasing the pressure of the vocals. Really like when the guitar kicks in along with the strings. Hoping for a kind of Electro Indie flavour. Updated with some effort at trying to master the levels.

I have been working with this track all day trying to sort some vocals to fit, but just not happy with them so far. Having said that its a pretty banging instrumental on its own, so thought i would share.
Updated with some small improvements
Bass using sytrus, nice, phat and spacey with a wobble, and some flange on it. the beat is quite unique -kinda tribal.
Hopefully will get some vocals on there to finish it off soon.
Im gonna say its electro. Its a dubstep type bass, but a clean, poppy type vibe, and the beats are regular 4/4. Some glitched up vocal stylings in the middle which kinda emerged out of no where.

Description : This is an old skool hip hop track. Big beats, guitar stabs, and a phatty bassline. Hopefully will get you head nodding. Something like Strong island kinda vibe. I would love some one with some vocal skills to hit it. I worked it around a wu tang acapella, which sounded pretty sweet.

Its a kind of laid back hiphop instrumental with a bit of scratching, and a weird kind of ambient drifting synth. I have a crazy sample that has a tingly magical kind of sound. Hope you like! Description : This is a short instrumental track i did today. I played with a grooovy line of keys, some slow dubstep beats and a little natty bassline. Some nice chilled keys that i have reversed and its given it a nice mysterious quality. I think its pretty cool, just builds with a few extra layers.

Description : Some Edits**Super Filtered for a smoother taste. This a bit of a different direction for me, going for that french filtered house vibe something I really love. I knocked this up last night and have just been working with it trying to get the right sound. Not sure entirely about the structure, but it has some nice parts in there that Im enjoying. I put a filter and some chorus on my main samples to add some depth and magic. Was looking for a nice vocal to help with the structure but not come across anything that really works. Description : *Bit of a restructure"This is in memory of my dad who passed away recently. He was a motown nut and i grew up listening to those records. Bit of chopping, and i think its come out pretty cool. Nice old sounds. Still refining the structure a bit, as ideas come through. Not sure about the intro or outro, but i think it has some really head nodding sections in there.

The result is a rather laid back affair, little darkness going on and a nice phat portion of sidechaining. I like it. Its going somewhere, but i think it could have more of a punch if i wanted it to. Description : I think this is pretty cool, very pleased with it! A nice build up featuring a mix of piano, bass, guitar, oscillators, beats, samples, twinkly bits and synths. I have worked on it over a long period, adding bits and switching it around. Quite happy with how its turned out now, so setting it loose. let me know what you think.

This one just kinda evolved and i wasnt really sure where it was gonna go, but some preaching and some funky bass stylings took it through. I borrowed the vocals from peppermint, and added them to my track which already had some choral sounds.
Its fairly dark, quite an atmospheric intro and eventually gets going with an electro type synth bass.
Im not sure how the mixing has gone on this - in that it has very little and the vocals pfffed into the mic a few times. tried to smooth it out, but i can still tell.
id really like some female oohs and scatting to add to the atmosphere but couldnt find any decent vocals at this BPM.

Description : Its a bit experimental. worked it around a sample from a Kill Kenada track that i messed with in gross beat. its now got a really dirty electro kind of bass feel to it. i then added some layers to it round 3 piano chords and tried to give it a nice funky feel, with some breaks for tension.
Have tried to master it slightly to try and tame some of those sounds, but to be honest i dont really know what im doing!
