Description : Another track played entirely on The Ensoniq Mr76 Keyboard with Roland 808 and 909 drum kits. the title Is unfortunate, It was the working title and it just stuck. unfortunately lost the masters to this as well, and there is a click by the end from the compression software. but it's one of those tracks I enjoy listening to, hope you do too. I would have done it differently today and I hate remaking whole songs but I love this kinda stuff so Expect something In the same vain in the future.
Description : This song is the creation of my son Alexander (14) using an ipad with the awesome Korg itribe app for the beats & the unbelievable Korg synth app for the bass and other pad sounds. He recorded the layers down into Logic 9, then he added a alto sax solo and a breath taking keyboard solo using his M audio keyboard patched through Logics mainstage to create that authentic 80s lead synth sound.
I have layered the horn section parts and recorded the end guitar solo using a digitech RP 50 multi effects box.
This is the first mix, so if you hear anything that needs tweaking don't forget to mention it as this is getting pressed onto a cd album.
Im' totally blown by these apps from Korg! They didn't cost much but they have added real value to the tools we producers and musicians can use. Top stuff!!!

This time I just tried to find a horn to start with and then i wanted to continue with a guitar. I was improvising 100% and the guitar track was completed within three tries.
Using the Antidote rack extension played through a Line 6 Guitar amp with the Wah Drive pedal. The Horn is pure synthesizers build on my two favorite rack extensions Antidote from Synapse and Rob Papens PredatorRE.

Description : When I visited Manhattan earlier this year, I found a very nice coffee shop called Cafe Angelique, just across the street (Grove and Bleecker). Every day I started with two large cappucinos, outside on a little bench, at sub zero temperatures (it was a very cold winter :-)). This daily rythm inspired me to make this track.

Description : I did this track with Cubase 6.5, mainly the Halion and Groove Agent plugin. The more I use both plugins the better I like them. I also added an acapella by KBB0. This tune goes into the meditative instrumental Hip Hop genre, which I like a lot because of its minimalistic and repetitive but also playful approach to music. I'm still playing around with the final mix but only getting slight improvements if any. I hope this sounds ok.
