Description : This is a metaltrack I worked on for the last few days. It contains a small amount of electronic samples. All music by Steinaa - hope you like it :)
Description : This is a track with a few loops from the looperman-community.
You could probably say that I was inspired by a group named Kovenant, and the songs Kper has done lately. So thanks alot for your musical contribution Kper :)
Done with my very own Jackson RR3, my Line 6 POD X3 along with Reaper and AD.
Enjoy!
Description : A sunday (space) jam involving a tiny part of loops from other people on the site. The sound on this one kind of reminds me of In Flames in certain ways, and I'm pretty happy with that.
Anyway - this was done in reaper with Addictive Drums, my beloved jackson rr3 and my pod x3.
Hope you find it interesting :)
Description : Scenario:
A new band is performing at a place where you're drinking and having fun with your mates - this is their first punch towards you - how does it feel?
(All music by Steinaa.)
Description : This is the song from me to my son. Finished it up about 3 weeks before he was born..
Description : Finally some spare-time to get another track going without stopping halfway into it. Fruity Loops-electrostuff mixed with some heavy drums and guitars in Reaper. Hardware is a Line 6 POD X3 and a Jackson RR5 Ivory Gold.
Description : This song is made by Stian Hammervold (Stianh182 on the site), and I just added the drums for this one.
Hope you like this as much as I do - comments are appreciated..!
Description : New version (for real this time, I forgot to upload the new track before)! I played with the song structure a bit, added some more variation and a couple new voices, also touched up the mix. Built on a compound 3+4 groove, this track is dark, spacey and mathy.
Description : Had some hours alone to make a full track without any disturbance.
Hardware is a Jackson RR5 plugged into a Line 6 POD X3. Mixed and recorded with Reaper, where I used Addictive Drums. All music by Steinaa.
Enjoy!
Description : Final Draft (?) - Recorded in two sets with Ableton Live 7 LE. Ten tracks and 120 clips consolidated into 6 and then rerecorded while playing to the urban sound effects.
jahknow sent me some loops a few months ago, and I've come back to them again and again without any satisfaction. In rethinking my approach, I've got something that's now becoming interesting.
An Ecstatic Anthem for an imaginary Hashishim - This is all about being joyful in acts of creative destruction.
Loops from jahknow, rei4real, ultrabase, DJatro, and DanWilson - so there's a couple of victims here that are new.
If you listen closely, there's a sonic narrative happening behind this all. The ravens and crows are a symbolic intervention, as the old term for a flock was "a murder." Resolution and meaning making lies with the audience.
Description : Dancing the Dreamtime: sonic banishment in 3 movements. Remastered in Live 7 LE with lots of eq and other work. The third totem in the series. Want to give a nod to loopytunes, Dj4Real, and Donnie_Vyros for this one. This was my attempt of the Slap Johnson 10 minute challenge.
Description : Moorlough Mischief and Ire (featuring nabilkhazzaka) - perhaps the final version.
Added missing verse from nabilkhazza's `pella and found a better synch for everything. Changed the arrangement with this version considerably.
Featuring loops by psychotropic circle, SLAPJOHNSON, bosonHavoc, DUCE132, DJAbyss and 'deleted account 216244.
Recorded with Ableton Live 7 LE as a live recording. Take 37? lol.
Final Draft? Version 3 - dropped the vocal level as suggested by Salook. Solid advice, that - thanks! Any others?
Description : I actually made the first version of this song in 2004.
The lead riff has stayed with me since then, and I listened to the original track the other day and I figured that i'd make a new one.
Also this one actually has vocals on it, I know I don't have the greatest voice, but at least I can somewhat hold a note. ;)
Description : Thank you Ray for allowing me to have fun with your acapella, this is my version of a Ray song on his profile, my version is more guitar oriented, alternative rock with shades of NIN, Linkin Park, Muse, and the great vocal performance of Ray, here is a link to watch the video Ray made for the song that I edited to fit the new version of the track.

Description : Sometimes the more we know the less we really know...there is in our recent past a time when the sphere of perception was very small.....in many ways we all still continue to practice the Flat Earth Policy.
Description : Like the highlights of black in a painting are blue,so are the little foibles of everyday life, from the ants at our feet to the blue sky above..there's a bit of the black in blue in everything........planetjazzbass/arrangement ,bass,synthesiser....SlapJohnson /saxophone
Description : A song I wrote the night my now ex-boyfriend broke up with me. It had happy lyrics before haha
Description : Ha....Japan has nothing to do with this tune! I just couldn't think of a catchy title. Made mostly from loops.
This one starts out with a reverse cymbal, solid bass and then finally gets moving. Lots of layers to give it a big sound. Guitar leads I put in are simple enough so that most should be able to play them if they want to.
Have fun with it.
Randy
Description : a song my band and i made, i also produced , recorded it etc. its not the best but i can say i tried my hardest.
tell me what you guys think =o
its not really metal but its not really rock either so...i dont know what to put it under as,...so i just stuck it under metal ,...what do you guys think about the whole thing?
Description : A guitar blazing rocker. Used some guitar loops from Rei4real - specifically his "chaser" and "yellow" riffs - hence: Yellow chaser...lol. I tried to throw in some elements of eclectic electronic beats and some synth additions...a bit of house with a traditional metal feel. Many thanks to Rei for his outstanding guitar loops. Hope you enjoy it.
Description : A song I wrote 6 or 7 years ago, and originally intended to have a slightly different progression and more of a Dylan-esque sort of feel. After toying with it in the studio, this is what evolved. Other than the basic tabla/percussion track, the instrumentation is live. Recorded and mixed Fall 2004 -- I've considered re-tracking the vocals (never quite been satisfied with them, only did two takes initially), but haven't gotten around to it yet.
Description : It's early monday morning and I'm cutting this track loose. Yadda Yadda Yadda, Blah Blah Blah... this track is nothing like you think it's going to be. Don't say I did not warn you.
Description : Here is another tune I put together from a number of loops. It is basically a tight sounding rock song that you might be able to play along with.
Hope you like it.
Randy
Description : more funk-jazz from my memories...
Description : Fusion betwen jazz and hip hop, Brecker Bros x Herbie Hanck.
The track just use samples... from many people around!
many thanks to them...
