I like to call it "Ice House" (or Igloo if you will) as opposed to "Tropical House". So I had to ask Jeicee if I could get my 8 bit hands on it just to add a lead track on it. No problem he answered. So here it is.

Description : UPDATE 10/03/2015 Some adjustments made to the mix. Yet another track I had up on the loop a few years back before I deleted it. This one though, went thru some retooling and remixing. I dont consider this to be one hundred percent complete as Im still tweaking around with the mix (the oboe nearly drove me to my knees!) but then again I think we're all like that.
This track is a cover for a cover. Its a hip hop cover for Gary Jules' Mad World cover of the original Tears for Fears' Mad World. Both are exceptional in their own feel/style.
I know people groan when they see a classic track become hip-hop-itized but I say give this one a shot.
Oh yea I gotta say this: I take no credit for the music as all credit goes to the original artist so on and so forth.

Description : Still working on this one. It is definitely a fusion of some stuff. I like the fact that its kind of all over the place hope you do to. I mixed it down and attempted to do my first halfA** mastering session. Not sure how it came out considering im using alesis 3" monitors which are pretty much glorified computer speakers LOL but ohh well lets see how it sounds on your system. The two intro synths sound way to reverby right now so I may have to work on it.

Used a Guild acoustic guitar mic'd with an AKG C214 and my trusty ol' Yamaha MOX8 for other instruments (excluding shaker - that was real ;).
