Description : Update: made allot of significant changes. Changed the intro melody a bit, added more sfx, adjusted the snare amplitude (brought down a tad), added a new melody to go with the existing, adjusted some synths to play longer sections, adjusted some delays, adjusted the end a bit to define the ending part of the melodies (a break); also some minor level adjustments to make room for the new sounds and some minor panning changes to the several instruments. I think now it does feel much more full and complete. hope you enjoy the new version.
Please let me know how it sounds on your side. By the way, I rendered the track at 128k to conserve space, but, I'd be happy to render at a higher quality (e.g. 192k or 256k) if you'd like to get a copy at a higher bit rate.

I'm actually quite surprised that I managed to make a track. I've been in that "writer's block" phase for some time and I'm glad that some ideas have come. I looked back at some "works in progress" and managed to complete one.
Unfortunately this track does feel unfinished to me in the sense that it eats allot of CPU power and I'm pretty much limited by that semi-disability.
I took sometime with levels and hopefully it sounds right. Please let me know how it sounds on your side.

Description : so ... I thought I'd try some experimenting... I started with a hiphop style beat added some glitches and sound FX..then it kinda took on a life of its own ....
original I wanted to write a trip hop track as I have been listening to a bit of massive attack recently so I tried to get some vocal on it but to no avail the track it's self in hind sight isn't really one for vocals.. it more cinematic than anything else... and would probably be more at home as the opening sequence of a program or movie
I wrote this is ableton 8 using a drum rack for the glitches and some grand string samples
I encoded it to MP3 in Audacity...

this track I made in Ableton 8 with the help of a great bass Vst that I got free with my computer mag called alpha I think and some great bass samples I found not sure where they came from... I wanna say loopermasters but I'm not definite
the drum track I based on a sort of southern hip hop style but the bass is all about the UK....and I let it do all the talking

Description : Well Ive spent some time with this one. tHe main idea took some time for me to concieve but the percussion itself was just a breeze. Im starting to really dig how much Ive progressed rhythmically. I tried a few new tricks the homie Yesh showed me as well. The hook pieces took me quite a minute to really come up with.
Honestly, I think they may be just a bit too weird and drive away the idea of having a vocalist on this track.
I was going to tag this but I figured what the heck, just put it out there and see the response.
The thing that has really bugged me is that the bass comes out a bit too strong on my laptop but Im wondering if thats just my comp/me.

Description : ok... so .... I recently spent some time clear out my computer and checking through my samples get rid of the ones I didn't want and all that...
I came across this set of guitar samples so I thought I'll see what I could do with them... so this what I came up with... it is at 160bpm so I have used some of my trusty dnb samples to give it an end but nothing you'd really notice....
it's a complete departure from my usual style, clean, NO glitches and easy on the atmosphere....but don't worry there is more glitch coming!!...
so you could say this would be my release single...ha ha ha ... suck 'em in and all that ...ha ha ha

this is a piece of glitch/piano chillout pop/industrial completely out from what I normally produce but I think it still has all my character in it.....

Description : Got the idea based on some replies to my Need Advice post on FB. I used the concept of nature at night. It's a bit synth heavy, but I think it's fine. It has a calm, soothing feel to it which is what I need and everyone that's a bit depressed.

Ok so, i heard this sick loop from the homie Yeshintae, I snagged it but I just left it there in my files. Eventually, i was digging round my comp and found it, then I had to chop it up Broken Scythe status.(weird and frantic) Once done, it sat in my ipod as well.
Finally, I found a rap pella by Nepaul and HalfKnot, and I knew i had to drop it over this.
So there you have it, this track took about a 4 month lazy span to be done. I think it could use a little mixing so its not official, but I hope you enjoy this track dubbed Reckless (aka Venomous MCs).
