Originally Cakewalk Guitar Tracks 2 and now trying to switch to Reaper. Been out for sometime and now recording again.
Digitech RP360. Other than that, all my gear is stage gear. Marshall Amp, Fender Strat (Jap) and Ibanez with scalloped neck for heavier stuff.
Lots of stuff. At the minute I'm particulary keen on sticking on YouTube and simply typing in the name of a country and seeing what it brings up. Theres a lot of stuff out there that people just haven't heard of for sure!

Megadeth, Testament, Def Leppard, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Judas Priest, ACDC.
Late 60', 70's rock. 80's metal and heavy rock. Tend to listen to bands earlier albums such as Number of the Beast, Master of Puppets, High n Dry, Sabotage (Black Sabbath) Screaming for Vengeance, Rust in Peace. Later stuff includes Soulfly, SOD etc. However, I also like to listen to Sheryl Crow, anything from the Vietnam era of music, classical music, some pop, Nirvana, Abba (yes! Abba) Slash and Miles Kennedy, Adam and the Ants, Rockabilly..............anything but Rap!
All sorts of genres however, clearly guitar inspired.
