Loops 1 - 25 of 72

Description : This is a loop what I had made before but only with chords. Key is the same in E minor.

Description : This is part of my ambient guitar loop which I have created before. One user had asked me to add only the melody. Here it is. Key is the same as before: E minor.

Description : I start with an Inspiration on Guitar with a Jazz touch of chords in E Minor and a syncopating melodic line.

Description : Played on my male Tanpura, a masterly craftmanship from Miraj (India) The Tanpura Drone is used for basic support for Vocalists/ instrumental players. Typical for Tanpura are the rich overtones which are created from plucking the tonic note and the fifth. I have edited in Key of D, The notes are A D D and lower Octave D.

Description : I used my north Indian String Instrument Tanpura in a different way. Instead of using my original Tanpura Sound which you also can find on a separate Loop, i used this wave file to play is reverse, to get a different sound. I added a contrabass and a English Horn for the melody. The mood is a bit dark but a little contrast with the brighter sound of the English Horn which got an ethnic flavour. Key is in C sharp.

Description : Melodic line for accoustic Bass based on a pentatonic scale. Tone material: E G A B D
with rhythmic variations in Blues/Jazz character.

Description : This is a Melody in a Punjabi Dance Style, inspired by the Indian Punjabi Folk music which is popular in Bollywood Songs and Dances.
I used 2 Sounds for the melody Mandolin and Dulcimer, a very short part of Ahh Choir and Taiko Drum for the Rhythm and Halo Pad Sound for a little Drone Background. I could provide only the melody section for a separate loop for Indian creative musicians to add original ethnic percussion on demand.

Description : Guitar with a Jazz touch of chords in E Minor and a syncopating melodic line. I did a small change with the melody line. Instead of Jazz Guitar I have chosen a Steel String sound which is a little brighter in comparison to the Chords of Jazz Guitar sound which is softer. The atmosphere of my tune reminds of Bossa Nova and music from Brazil. There is a second loop which includes the same music material but with a sea shore sound in the second part.

Description : Happy New Year 2017 to all Looperman users. I start with an Inspiration on Guitar with a Jazz touch of chords in E Minor and a syncopating melodic line. In the second part of the calm melody I added a Sea Shore sound to create a little feeling of Rio de Janeiro, (however I have never been there). This is the reason for the title. The atmosphere of my tune reminds a bit of Bossa Nova.

Description : A melodic line in the key of E with some notes which have ornaments and staccato with a touch of Spanish character.

Description : I plav on my Indian String Instrument SAROD a fast part called Jhala, in general it is played at the end of a performance. The second melodic line contains a short Gamak, an emellishing note followed by a scale with Indian Jazz feeling. Key is in C.

Description : This is an essential medium for expression of classical indian music. It is a technique of gliding between two notes. I play this difficult tune on my 25 String North Indian Instrument SAROD.
Key is in C.

Description : This tune is a Mixture between a Sitar Melody in a western Music Style and a Marimba which could have been played on Guitar which I did first but I prefered the warm Marimba Sound as a contrast to the bright Sitar. it has some similarity to Bollywood mood, threrfore the title. Key is e Minor.

Description : A slow Melody with gentle chords for 12 sting Guitar. Key is C Minor.

Description : Inspired by playing my Saz I found a new melody. Because of complicated syncopation rhythm in the second part I did not play it live but with my notation programm. To get the Saz Effect I used 12 string guitar and Mandolin Sound. The second part has similarity to Indian classical Music like Tihai. Key is B flat.

Description : On my turkish Saz with 6 Strings I found a melody with some rhythmic Jazz Elements.
This small long neck Instrument is called Cura Saz. I do not play it in the traditional Style. It is a mix of a constant drone and melody which create chords. The 4 Strings are in F and 2 Strings in B flat. Key is in B. The drone of F is very dominant. There is no Category for SAZ so I have chosen Mandolin, because the Saz Cura has steel strings and is a small instrument.

Description : I used the similar musical material of my Loop "Slow Mood in D-Minor for guitar", but did a few changes with the melody and rhythm because the Japanese Shamisen has a different sound than the guitar. It is more dry and the melodies sound shorter and have a kind of drum effect. I used also another sound for the base line with Taisho Koto. So it becomes a mix of an ethnic plugged instrument and the Japanese Harp Taisho Koto which I have used before in differnt loops. There is no Category for the Shamisen, so I used Harp which would fit best.

Description : This is a Loop in a slow mood for Steel String Guitar in 4/4 beats and 4 chords in d minor, a kind of B flat g minor and A Major. This Chord progression reflects a calm mood for night time.

Description : This loop is made for my KOTO loops as a drum accompaniment. The Taiko Drum is a powerful Japanese Drum which would fit to the Koto loops in 120 bpm. You can use it for "KOTO Melody" "TAISHO KOTO Melody" and "TAISHO KOTO Chord Sequence".

Description : This is a famous, typical Spanish Chord Progression which you find in countless music tunes and interpretations. To these chords A minor, G Major, F Major, E 7 I created a melody with ornaments and Rhythmic Variations. This loop could be a good base for Improvisation for own melodies.

Description : Got this idea from a music tune "Traffic Jam" by Teddy McRae and Artie Shaw. I used a very short accompaniment phrase of a brass section of a Big Band, and added new syncopated melodies. When I did the first loop whith the Banjo Sound I experimented with a few different sounds and found some nice organ sounds. I did a few changes in the Duration of the notes because the organ sounds were too short. For the melody I used "Percussive Organ" and for the Chords "Rock Organ". Chords are very simple C Major and F 7. I think it's a good alternative for those who do not favour the Banjo Sound. I will notice in the downloads...

Description : Got this idea from a music tune "Traffic Jam" by Teddy McRae and Artie Shaw. I used a very short accompaniment phrase of a brass section of a Big Band, and added new syncopated melodies. Long time ago, I played Banjo in a Band, so I have chosen this sound. Chords are very simple C Major and F 7.
Here is the link to my Organ Swing Loop, the same Melody and Chords but with 2 Organ Sounds which sounds more softer than the Banjo:

Description : This theme is part of a long composition published as "Indonesian Travel Song" https://play.google.com/store/music/album/Jens_Egert_Indonesian_Travel_Song?id=Blqrh4thwo54ohb5z44pkqqra2q with Gong, Percussion and Flute, which is a base for Improvisation. It has got several changes in a new key in d minor and has got a Jazz touch now. I used for the melody line a fretless bass and the for the rest an acoustic Contrabass.

Description : Got the idea from a CD of Andre Heller of his Track "Liebe". There is a Brass accompaniment for the song. I used the simple chord progression of C- G- a minor - F - G-. When I listened to the music I immediately knew that this would be very suitable for a loop. I created some interesting Rhythm for the melody and made the tempo faster than the orignal song.
I used C trumpet for the melody, additional filling melodies whith Tuba and the accompaniment with french horns.
The loop is in a happy, bright mood, therefore the title Shining Brass

Description : This is a tiny part of a variation of my composition "Eternal Circle". Available at google play and online shops.
I made a few changes to the first fast Chord Progession, This loop has a moderate tempo 98 bpm. I changed the melody ot the first 3 bars slightly but the main chord structure remains:
Chords are A minor, F Major, G Major, E Major. 4/4 beats
