Here is a youtube video to help you understand with mixing is all about. It is two hours long and dated but it those tips will make a difference in your next production.
eq the drum loops it sound hollow on my speakers like the low end is non existent as soon as I put my headphones on it some what came to life. make sure it sound good across all platforms.
if you are still using ableton you can work on your vocals through that program instead of using third party stuff. just a tip to save some space on your hard drive.
This track is too loud, it looks and sounds like you squashed the entire mix. Fix the dynamics of your track. Pull back on the compression add some EQ then you are golden.
Thanks BM I appreciate you taking the time to listen and offer some advice on how to make the mix better. I am a guitarist at heart so I tend to push the guitar levels too hot in the mix from my bias. :) I lowered them a bit so they don't stand out so much in the mix. thanks again tv
this jawn is crazy good. i especially like how you use the guitar in the chours for some dramatic effect to the track. dont have much to say about the quality because it was flawless. nice work!!!!
Yo the vocals on this track is mad decent but overall production needs some work. Do something about the bass, there is too much going on in the low end. I suggest you use the parametric eq to kill off some of the bass.
I'm going to be honest with you this track is in dire need of a bassline plus the arrangement here is way to repetitive. Switch up the pattern a little bit to keep the beat more interesting.
This is good but it definitely needs some more of that latin flava. try some adding some extra percussion sounds and pan them hard left or right to make it more interesting to listen to.
I guess I'll be the first to review. For starters I like the offbeat flow on this track And wow i did not expect that change with the drums.Change up the chords to make it a bit more interesting.

I like it! Wow I was expecting something else but if you add a heavy dancehall bassline it will the track itself more character.

I really enjoyed this track. To answer your question you can categorize under HipHop. It do not have much of a dancehall feel to it.

I like it but the track is to loud. You should go back and work on those levels in the mix, also dial the master fader down to about -3 to -6db.

EQ is your friend bruh!! I know that trap is bass heavy but you got to clear up the low end. Also, add some variations to keep the track interesting.
