i really like how you conceptualized the track in your description. i can see it. the fight scenes...how are you doin that?!?! all those sounds! MALFUNCTION dododo booom CANT DIE that is far out, far out. this is just pure ear candy. refreshmentstep. respect. peace and happy new year.
ooooo. that is some adult sounding r&b. strong vocals, very chill with a groove that gets the head noddin. i can only imagine where it goes, but i bet it goes somewhere great.
Very good sir that's what I like to hear. Hope you're usin those premium grade glasses and not mids. Glad you like the track. I'm gonna record to a track you made called revenge I think. So stay tuned.
LOL....you are the first who has ever compared my voice to Etta James, but I'll take it!! LOL. The CD is available still at iTunes or Amazon, practically anywhere where digital music is sold. Just search "Leahcim" and "Sentimental" it should get you there. I hope you enjoy the rest as much as you enjoyed this one.
Love & Light,
Mykael
P.S. just in case you are confused. "Leahcim" is actually "Michael" spelled backwards. It's the name I used as a "stage" name. But I have since changed to another form of Michael, which is what I was called growing up -- "Mykael." And yes, I'm sticking with it. LOL
another person that draws from the stones throw vibes of hip hop. it shows. simple, efficient, smooth and classy as hell! the production and the mix are on point. well done pe, diggin it.
love the source choice, them horns sound real nice. awesome job with the production, the cuts are perfect. ade's lyrics made me laugh, hes good. nice track man.
damn i love this song! the stop and go feel on the drums flows well into the backing pads. that little synth bit and the square(is it a square or a sine with distortion?) bass pump things up a bit. great job audiotism!
you need to do dubstep more often, this is effin amazing! reminds me of some old rpg on the snes, or some of the proper keygens the scene puts out. well thought out on the production. love the melodies, really great choice of synth sounds. speaking of which, you didnt use massive for this at all did you?
Thanks for that! No, I didn't use Massive. I can't afford anything :P I used triple oscillator (Similar to FLstudio's 3xosc or something of the such) and a whole lot of tweaking.
I. DONT. NEED. NO. HOOK!!! bangin. flow is on point. the quieter vocal levels really do force you to listen to the lyrics. bass got my sub walkin bowed leggin now. awesome track.
oh my, my, my. what is this? ITS FUSION!!! hot fusion. needs an adult only tag on it. one of the most obscene, graphic, hardcore ear pornographs i have ever heard. im gonna download a copy of this...to archive...in a minute.
that bass is awesome. its got that flylo stlye bounce that when you focus on it, takes you to a different place. and those chords...THOSE CHORDS!!!! yellow cant come close to the mellow they put off. awesome track dude.
so dark and angry. the mix is so damn good. each part is really clear and balanced. flow styles go well together. always love to hear them fast rhymes.
Hi, thanks for the comment:-) totally see what your saying about the drums, I'll have a work on them and see if I can give em a bit of variation, thanks again for the advice,...and gotta love the stupid PIC...if I got you laughing my work here is done!:-)
this has got to be the best song i have ever heard on looperman. it has caused me- a six foot, 240 pound, nappy headed, cynical black dude with a bad attitude and substance abuse issues- to produce some sort of liquid in my right eye, blurring my vision. way to go, you have momentarily disrupted my mild stoicism with this audio beauty. great job, and thank you for uploading this.
