These are the comments Eighteen made on other peoples tracks.
I'm not a fan of Selena, but you make this sounds really awesome! Nice job
Eyy thanks Eighteen really appreciate this.
This is one of the scarier song I can find on looperman,
but for what it is, it is very well done, talented!
the music is hypnotizing, and the floating vocals totally match it!
Much appreciated. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to listen :)
Well, this is an extremely colorful beat!
Very well done Mr. Funktastic! :D
I fav! :D
Hey Eighteen! Good see ya 4 sure and thanks so much. You struck the right note with me. Mr. Funktastic is my most cherished name and personal fav of mine. Since there are so many Mr. Funktastics out there I had to put that one on the shelf even though it is my personal fav. So I have to settle for being Looperman.com's Mr. Funktastic and I am so good with that.
Nonetheless, thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. I will slide over and see what you have doing as well.
Played this at work in a stressfull situation.. Calmed me down instantly xd awesome track man!
Hey Eighteen, Glad that you listened and it helped calm the stress. I appreciate the comments.
I thank you for let us listen to this track, you give me inspiration with this one :)
I'm in love with the looped piano!
And rocky sounding good!
Oh shit, this is the best track I've heard in a long time man!
I can hear that you have put a lot of passion into this track. I like it very much, good job!
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. The track was a good catharsis for me. I got a lot of emotions out that had been sitting with me too long. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Very nice :D
Feels like I stepped straight into abjazz club haha.
Playing this at the office. Very nice
Hi Eighteen, I appreciate you listening and your comment. I actually felt the same way "jazz club" after stepping away and later listening to it again. I had a lot of fun making this track and glad to be getting good feedback. Now, get back to work. :)
Oh damn xD the partat 0:30 certainly took my attention, awesome stuff right there!
In overall very nice mixing/mastering done.
also love the ending part from 2:19 till end.
Cool track! xD +Fav
Thank you very much! :)
Very cool steely vibe indeed,
this is a very nicely done progressive track that u made.
The only tiny thing that bugs me ( can be my headphones (DT990 pro)) but whenever the vocal is on, I hear a slight crack on the left side.
If this is only on my side, then my apologies :)
Thanks Eighteen !
I have made a few edits since initial up load and one was adjusting the eq to reduce some of the brightness on the vocal which could have been what you were hearing.
I agree with damonb, really sounds like cypress xD
Insane In the Membrane!
Though this song is indeed weird, it's not like all the rest on this site what u usually hear.
This track is actually a song, and a really cool one too xD.
U got my head bangin' throughout the entire song! (xept for the end, theres no drums :p)
great you like it, thanks a lot (-:=
Maybe you like it with lyrics also. I've used the cosy tiredness to sing some lines over it:
This is one of the sicker trap beats!
Sick hi instrument at 0:47
Like it a lot!
I appreciate your feedback. Thank you!
This gets me a huge smile on my face xD I don't understand whaha
I love it xD
Can I ask something?
I was wondering how did u do the voices?
Or did you sample excisting vocals?
Im really in love with them.
On this track, they are sampled vocals, then i give them a wash with my trusty vst Valhalla Shimmer (The best effect for any sound but best for vocals), also added a pingpong effect + Reverb + Delay, then trim all effects until the tone of the vocals with effects blend with the song and always trying to keep the vocals strong in the mix.
However every sound i use whether its a vocal,beat,bass i separate into 4 individual channels..lets say vocals;
channel one: dry (no effects) and set for about 50-60% in the mix, then pan left by about 10%
channel two: dry (no effects) and set for about 50-60% in the mix, then pan right by about 12% (most people hear better with their right ear...long story)
channel three: VST Valhalla Shimmer with a little pingpong effect but wont need much as shimmers got control, set mix level around 70% pan left 5%
Channel four: VST Valhalla Shimmer with a little pingpong effect but wont need much as shimmers got control, set mix level around 70% pan right 6%
Now i pretty much use that as a rule of thumb as i know when its comes down to the mixdown i want more than one channel to play with and want dry and wet channels.
Hope this explains what i do....i suggest note this and try it out...obviously taking into account the musical creation you are making and what your intention is with the song kinda helps....i use the same above 4 channel separation on every sound in a song ... it just gives me more freedom in my personal mixing abilities.
Best of luck Eighteen
Many thanks for enableing the download!
Too bad this is not for download :( I would really like to have it :)
Ok downloads available until its published.
Oh damn, instant fav.
When the bass kicks in, u got me.
Intro beat sounds very nice, my kinda thing, spacey.
Many thanks for the compliments Eighteen.
I don't exactly know how to place this song, but I get a very good feeling from it. from what I feel when listening to this is donkey kong country 2, if that makes sense.
sounds also very crystal clear
You have a great feeling for this genre man, this could be on the radio.
nice small details also like the little stars synth you hear every now and then :)
Very nice track man!
Genious combos man xD
The switchups are insane!!
Dat untreated bipolar tho heh heh.
You just gave me an idea... Make a tune based off of the actions/combos of a Tekken match or something.
Many thanks for listening!!
This beat is insane man, very artistic!
Bass wobbling feel good, very awesome track!
Thanks Eighteen, we really appreciate it.
Insane stuff man, I am jealous how you can make it sound so professional.
