The drums make a statement, they have a great groove. Great track, I liked the song just as a being a cool song in itself. Lots of power and energy to the track. Vocals sound great, attitude and effort always help a vocal track!
Love the guitar sound - a bit of a killer riff (or two) going down in an almost funky wave (I think its a phaser or flanger on it that gives it that edge huh). Great almost prog break toward the end too - just for a bit of variety - very well done : )

Good track overall for work in progress. Quick suggestion, if you put your guitar licks after the vocals in a call response patterns (the upper register licks) they will have more presence in the mix and make more of a statement.
Yeah, you are totally right. I had the track as an instrumental with pretty much one long solo in it from beginning to end. I chopped pieces off that were sub-par but didn't think about placement against the vocals which I just added. I will go in and see about moving them to better places. Thanks for the feedback. I will need to carve out some space for the vocals for sure. I have not given the track the full Nectar 3 treatment yet. It has an analysis mode that listens to the track as a whole and automatically carves out space for the vocals. Thanks for the listen.
Thanks, I was messing around playing Purple Haze and found a funky riff and just went off of that. The movie clips were for spice until I write and record vocals but I will probably leave a few in.
Thanks. Full Metal Jacket with some Saw and American Pysho in there. Wanted some cool movie clips to spice it up until I can get around to writing and working out some vocals. I might leave a few in the final version.

Lol. Thanks much. It is probably the fastest tempo I have ever worked with. 135 bpm I believe. Hopefully I can get some vocals and work out a lead guitar or two. Thanks for the listen.
Pretty 'in your face' groove and tone. Tough to stay under the speed limit if driving. Like another comment, I'd look for a spot to take down and bring it back....maybe even up a whole step.
