This is insanely good. The guitar is perfect with a Mark Knopflery sound. Come back soon with more!
And i come back to this one again....idk wat it is about this one that makes me feel so at peace....but man am i glad it does
Thanks Aaron - wish I could remember how to use the drum program that I used in this - oh well : )
Ian! Right out the gate the direction you moved this track is spacious light and fresh. The delayed sax with the vocals is a solid creative touch. And yep Im totally loving the saturation and the stereo separation. Great staging and presentation. Stellar as always my friend.
Hey Mark - thanks for stopping by and checking this one out - on the road atm - Hawaii - so not much listening time - hope to check out LM soon : )
Hey PseudoYou put this drums ande the rest really nicely together.Hats off.The vocal is also very nice.I can see you growing and growing but hey...don't go too fast or I'll get such an inferiority complex lol
a hundred floors below you on the tower of song
Hi Ian,the music sounds in my head even though the music is over. Great track and guitar playing. Very chill out mix. The vox are well integrated.GreetingsMatthias
Hey Matthias - thanks my friend for checking this one out and the warm feedback - as always much appreciatedIan
wow Ian this also reminds me of FKJ&Massego the youtube vid is great the two of them in the studio you probably seen it anyway millions have but its fantastic work mate, this is surely one of your top tracks, you must know you got it spot on, you had a feeling on this one the music possessed ya into to delivering a cracker, well do great listen big comparison, big compliment
Hey Paul - well I wish I sounded more like those guys : ) : ) but the feedback on this one is encouraging - my personal favourite (from my tracks) is always the one Im trying to make next - all good fun learning and creating hey. Thanks for the warm feedback mate
Hello Ian, after so many years I'm still unsure about my singing and making music. I still have stage fright when it comes to the stage. This will remain so. We are artists and live from applause. That's why we keep thinking about whether we're good enough for our audience. Believe me, your guitar playing is good! Uncertainty also ensures that we don't become arrogant and that we keep questioning our own abilities. That makes us better and that's how we continue to develop. Much love Manuela
Oh yeah - very true - uncertainty is a friend not a foe and helps us to stay curious. Thanks for sharing your experience and the affirmation
This is really nice work pseudoble.Nice balance and tone.Loving that undertone melody with the sprinkles of your guitarslaying down a nice groove in the background.excellent work bro.
Thanks for listening and the warm feedback - much appreciated
Hey There - thanks for checking this out and the warm feedback, much appreciated : )
Beautiful track. Puts me in a pleasant disposition. Everyone keeps saying Mark Knoepler. But this track reminds me of Fkj and Masego-tadow. Great job.
Thanks for listening and the warm comment - nice track Tadow - I better keep practising : )
Getting warm here in Florida, tropical one could say. This music is fitting as it heats up for summer. Think I'm gonna make me a rum drink now. A big rum drink actually, lol.
I like the percussive feel of the rhythm track, the bass is played percussively with lots of short staccato notes. The vocal bits add a lot. Mix sounds great Ian!
Hey Wayne - hope you enjoyed that Rum mate - down here its getting colder though Ill be escaping to the Yukon with a couple of stops in Hawaii soon : )
Thanks for the listen and the warm feedback : )
Hello Ian, a wonderful sensitive song with an outstanding voice. Very calm and balanced. The voice is beautifully integrated into the song. But the other instruments are also suitable. Your guitar, which is indeed reminiscent of Marc Klopfler, loosens up the whole song. On the one hand the song creates a jazzy, on the other hand a bluesy atmosphere. Maybe you should bring your guitar to the fore a bit more. But that's just my personal taste. All in all well made! Greetings Manuela
Thanks Manuela for your listen and warm feedback. I'm never to sure about my random and improvised guitar playing but am very pleased that a few 'real muso's' give it the thumbs up - thanks again for the time and thoughtful comment - all good things - Ian
hey Ian, i love this mystical, searching vibe. the lyrics fit the insistent rhythm ace job on the drumming, the vox sampling, grooving bass, all the intricate motion. the dubby touches in the production really enhance the atmosphere. i really admire how much you are doing with these sounds and how uncluttered the result is. guitar has a touch of knopfler that lends itself very well, it provides a nice balance to the music. really graceful tune, my friend!
Hey Dude - no one has mentioned the anagram poetry ... I thought it was pretty interesting
Anyway ... thanks again for listening and the warm feedback - I added a couple of reverbs to the guitar tracks and that seemed to help it fit in
Please check out my music for insects track - curious what you make of that one : )
there are talents on LM! nice beat and as usual the track is "nickel"! great job ian!Michael
Thanks for checking it out Michael
All good things
Who's fast looks like you're the fast one buddy. And I read the description of that cutting that take some time. Oooo and vocals cool! Bomb percussion I like this pass calm yet energetic what a smoothie! Oh Angelus style kinda she could do those notes 2
Cheers again - yeah I was thinking of Angelus as I went looking for a vocal track. Ive finally got a few vst drum programs that I can use and learning to tweak the sounds a little more to fit the track - step learning curve. Listening to what you do helps for sure. Thanks mate
Ohhh! this is a mood! Ian, man that beat is infectious! and super dreamy! love the vox to bits, it has a tribal feel which penetrates the soul and with beat combined it is a clear winner! for me this track just made summer come early...WOWWW! you just raised the bar incredibly high indeed, this is creativity at it's BEST!...I think you can tell just how much I loved hearing this beauty! NICEEE!!! Instant Fave.
Hey Angelus - thank you for the lovely feedback - I very much enjoyed your new one earlier today - your careful listening is much appreciated
Smooth Jazz....I hear your trademark rhythms. This is real smooooth, like 20yr oldBourbon...The Guitar is very soulful, peaceful and calmingI never listen to the lyrics but, I do listen to the pitch and presentation. These Vocals are a perfect match.
Great Track. Faved.. PEACE from the topside...
Thanks Jynxz - I worked with a new EQ on this one I think it made is smootherHope you are well - look forward to hearing your new one
p, this is smooth chill. I like that crispy electric piano sound. Mix is good to my ears. To me this vocal can work. I like. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Thanks again : )
Heck of a experimental track. I like the whole concept. EVERY THING. Sonically sound production for spoken word. kEEP ON EXPIREMENTING p. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Hey - thanks for checking out some of the old back catalogue (most is relegated to the dead zone of soundcloud to make room for newer experiments) - I like this one too : )
Goodness gracious say what!Yo you coming through with the new swag I'm liking it! Very cool soundage!
Thanks mate - sorry for the late reply - always appreciate your warm feedback
Super dope dude. Im going to check everything ive missed during my 3 month abscence. Obviously missed some good stuff man
Thanks mate - it's a bit different! Just commented on your new one : )
this is a nice chill beat man! :)
Thanks for listening and for the warm feedback - both are much appreciated : )
U2/Eno-ish, my first impression. There is a nice sense of depth to the track. So many people mix so everything is at the same level, too high a threshold on the master channel most times. You do a good job of layering the instruments so they don't compete.
Like people have said, trippy. Good chit!
Well done Ian!
Hey Wayne - thanks mate, yeah the mixing often takes some time but can make such a difference its worth a bit of tweaking - appreciate you listening and looking forward to hearing your new one - Ian
Nice work on the track pseudoble.Love when that guitar comes in.the vocals just took it to another level.
Thanks for listening - yeah I had a few guitar lines in there but liked that overdriven rock sound and thought it worked despite what might sound like incongruity - your warm feedback much appreciated
big sound research work, original and psychedelic, you always surprise us with your tracks, very good creative job Ian!Michael
Hey Michael - thanks for listening (again) mate, I very much appreciate your ears and the warm feedback ; ) Ian
