Great track, my friend, from beginning to end. Love the way you slipped in the guitar solo. The vocals add so much to the piece, but it is definitely the whole being more than the sum of its parts.
I love the wah and guitar tone, you played bass on this?nice sound as well.Very good song altogether, you inspire me to dust off the old Crybaby, well done. Allen
:) As we say in Swedish: grymt kul, This is so much fun. Loved the love of your life's performance and the guitar and... I believe that you had a blast making this tune. Thanks for putting it out here. Faved it.
listened to this version just to hear differance - no where near as good, no atmosphere, too cold, stick to producing your own stuff your self, you have a much closer feel to the song.
cool tune - easy on ears and addictive storyline - first that ive picked up on since registering on this site tonight - followed your uploads looking for acoustic loops and more mellow sounds, you have an abundance of creative sounds that im looking to use, will be looking out for more of your work and hope that i can do you credit with you material.
Thanks for listening to my tracks. I'm kinda shocked you'd fav it since it seems so far away from your style, but like my Irish Grandma would say, "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth." LOL! Check this out... the other version of Simple Life: http://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/54802 Peace, d2d
listening to this at 2 am here, man i am enjoying the soft voice if the female, and the nice riffs u have here man. really a nice song. i like it very much. esp the way the riff is well placed at the back of the whole mix. the kicks are pretty simple too. i think it is more of a rock than a pop. that reminds me, i have to pop my bottle :D
My boy, dextdee! I appreciate the 2 AM listen! LOL! I'm proud of you & all the work you've been putting in on this site. I'm proud of you for improving YOUR music, too. You need to hear ... the other version of Simple Life: http://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/54802
You know what... I completely agree with you that a big bang's missing in my Simple Life track. I wasn't in the room with the drummer when he recorded it. I think this is def a stepping stone in my development as a producer. Honestly, I struggled to complete this recording. I think its a great song but I'm the WRONG producer for it. Thanks for listening to my tracks. I'm kinda shocked you'd fav it since it seems so far away from your style, but like my Irish Grandma would say, "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth." LOL! You're honesty is GREATLY appreciated!
Quite the hybrid track you got here - almost begs for versions. Thanks so much tho for knockin that detestable 'young country' crap out the door. What a great singer!!!
You're review reminds me... I do have another version of this tune. I'll post it in a few days. I had NOTHING to do with the other version other than writing the song. You'll appreciate how different the 2 versions are. Yeah, this song begs for versions. I've sang it with acoustic only. I've had a few females sing it. & had another alt-rock guy sing it. everytime: the song gets folks who can relate to it and like the song. I still feel honored each time I hear this girl sing ANYthing. To me, she's amazing. ;) Thank you for taking the time to listen to it.
really like the composition of this track. this is great pop/country/rock fusion right here....great heartbreak in the lyrics. and i love the bell accents [the child left behind]; theyre a great juxtoposition to the grittyness of the bad ass guitar [the adult looking bak]. great work!

im diggint the industrial; vibes, i think the guitar needs more deep end on the tone, its a pretty cool song overall, needs some wild vocals on it!
