Refreshing to click on a "garage" song, which isn't some kind of crap dance/dubstep conglomeration, but real garage rock. I honestly expected to see something newer on your page, but it is nice that your comment wasn't just fishing for comments on your latest track like is so common. All of these short ideas are pleasing in different ways. Of course the recording/tone on each is a little different, and some I like better than others. I like the crisp tone of the last section a lot. Would definitely be more enjoyable if it wasn't panned all the way right, but in both speakers... doesn't have to be stereo, just cetered mono. You have a cool style of playing that I enjoy. Nice old recording, thank you for sharing!

Thanks Orlando for commenting. Reason being is the player button does not work on my Droid. So in order to listen I need to comment which allows me to DL and listen. Tumble definitely has the licks or spice or whatever you want to call it. Your additional envelope of sound created a nice symphonic environment.

Hi, some good guitar playing going on here, some distortion which most of the others have covered. I think if you re-did this and cleaned it, there is a lot of potential to develop this into a really good track and I would certainly be interested in working on it. Good work so far. The drums are leading here. And how can I colab with you on this? I think the deep laugh just can be better than this, make some changes on it to feels more powerful and natural. those sounds on 3:30 are cool, love them. Enjoy this track

Interesting experiment. The chord progression is "standard" but it is well played and the sound comes out surprisingly good (I am assuming you used the built-in microphone of your android device). As Ed already pointed out, some clips here and there, but I am sure that "slicing" out the clipping parts it should still be possible to extract the loops you need to make a song out of this recording. I hope you'll find someone to sing on it. Ciao, Domenico
Yep! Straight through the Droid's mic. The owner recently downgraded the recording quality because initially I was getting some awesome recordings. Of course, that was natural unamplified sounds. It's quiye possible the fidelity of the amp's speaker was producing overtones that the Droid couldn't handle. "LiveN'Learn!" I was ticked when I listened to what I got. I'll try runnig it through some filters to see what I can get out of it. Some mid and high pass filters should do the trick. Anyways... Good thoughts and thanks. :)
Hi Kamputera.....interesting that you found an android app the can actually record without more latency than acceptable...I gave up looking after reading that the system just wouldnt work for audio at any decent specs....notice some distortion in the track...likely just overdrove the inputs capability a bit but if you discount that it sounds surprisingly good....I got tired of spending hours trying to do stuff with the major software years ago...and I have used most of them over the years (they all work fine if you want to spend a lot of time at it I guess)....been using Acid Pro for about the last 8 years...does everything I could do on anything else...just easier & most stuff on the fly.....keep on......Ed
Thanks TW for your review. I believe this track was recorded live with my ANDROID device on record near a Roland Micro Cube. My levels were a bit too high and my Droid, possibly, too close to the amp. Tape-A-Talk records in .wav, but there's another app. called ASR that records to .mp3. I'll be giving that one a try. The computer that had my recording software on it crashed and I'm hesitant to resurrect it. I appreciate the listen Ed and Take Care, Mario.
