I listened with pleasure.
It kind of feels like a commercial. Haha Sorry I don't have any technical input, but I think it sounds great. Nice vocal.
ive noticed you can do indi/punk/alternative and nail the grunge sound
Thanks. They are my favorite genres. I think if Alice and Chains and the Cranberries wrote a song together it would sound like this.
very nice job this has got that cross breed grunge /indi type of grunge reminds me a lot of early juiana hatfield she came from the boston seen you might know her from the lemon heads she did lot of this stuff when grunge was just getting started but she was labled as indi then a gain so were the pixies certain countrys all from that same seen
Love the accompaniment. Sounds like....imagine all the people living for today....You may say that I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. haha Very nice, soft and soothing voice! :-) Great sound.
Great job on the backing music. I like that you kept the raw intent of the song (in the grunge genre), as the lyrics and way the song is sung comes across even more powerful. I know you've stated that this is a quick production, but your skill at matching the music with the vocals shine thru.
I hope you will also post the finished product. Thanks for highlighting the two vocalists and also for sharing your talent.
This is a fave for me.
Thanks. I just finished the full version. I had some other ideas for it but have to more onto other projects. Really enjoyed working on this. Would love to work with the both of you in the future. Let's colab sometime.
Yah! What Danke said, what a tease. Lol It's very good. I love guitar, so it doesn't take much, but I love the feel of this! From what I understand it isn't the easiest thing for some people to write a song in reverse, around vocals, you have done a great job making it inviting and warm!!
If you're still looking for a vocalist, head on over to my page, I've got some stuff over there at my place. Or, if you've got some guitar stuff laying around I'd love to hear it. :-)
Hi. I have been listening to your acapellas already. Love your voice. Sometimes it takes a while for the inspiration to hit me. I listened to this acapella 10+ times before it finally clicked.
Sounds really nice :) More authentic to the original then any other version I've heard.. thanx for sharing. And we are two singing. But many people say we sound really a like.
Listen to the original if you feel like it.. its grunge style.
You two do sound alike. Great vocals. I"m glad you like the music. Think I'm going to try a version with electric instead of acoustic guitars in the chorus.
Just listened to the original. I like it. I can hear the similarities.
this is very cool...a bit short...maybe this is collab request? to finish it?
brutal good vocals, crystal clear mix, great song structure...
hope you'll finish it and upload again...
Hi. I downloaded the acapella vocals from here and added music to it. Something I enjoy doing. Unfortunately the vocalist only posted half of the song.
I would love to find a vocalist to work with on a large project.
Glad you enjoyed it.
great song.very good
I dig it jay !
Very cool rhythm guitar track and the vocals are raspy with a load of attitude. Nice ol' skool vibe here but I agree with danke that the drums could use a bit of tweeking and maybe polish up the ending some. Yeah some soloing and fills would also add some gloss. Good stuff though bro, definitely would love to hear more from you.
Thanks. More on the way.
Nice warm fuzz on the guitar, The vocal is clear & well mixed. Reminds me of something like My Chemical Romance, emocore era of rock. I rather liked it. Great job.
Thank you very much! I have a remake of the Johnny Cash version of Hurt in the works.
brilliant guitar work here...
though, on my humble I would recommend 2 things: lift the drums a little bit in volume and at the end of the song an endless guitar solo...:-)
Thanks. I thought the same thing about the drums. Not enough punch. Working on solo and fills now.
Sounds good to me. Not my genre but it caught my ear and kept my attention. Good Job!
