Every once in a while you check back at 7venth's/Recluse's looperman and honestly for a while thought maybe you were dead or somewhere in the music industry under some new alias I'd never heard of, unable to upload to looperman because production companies are assholes. But turns out there's a song here from 2019, surely not?
Hang on, he's still alive, thank goodness! I've totally missed your uniquely powerful synth ballads which hit me everytime you make a track like this. And the way you orchestrate dynamics which flow from feature to feature keeps things interesting.
Something I've been looking into recently is ways to better support users on looperman, like I would definitely pay for albums of songs from my favourite users on looperman however that often requires intervention from a production company which is a lot of work and commitment.
your comments are spot on. one of the best things that have happened to me in my life is making the commitment years ago to this site and the fact that so many truly inspirational people here share their thoughts and feedback. absolutely amazing
- all of that aside. im in love with this track sucker for some edm i cannot lie i absolutely love it the way you faded it in but dropped it right again i loved it AMAZING bravo
keep it up would love to start hearing more from you! welcome back -CAP
I've been going around analyzing various samples for their notations to learn on piano and in the process grabbed a snippet of the intro for this song. Can you actually play this song on piano with only two hands? I couldn't manage it because the notes were so spread out. Anyway On a more reflective note, I found the melody perfect, the composure and structure is amazing because of how it builds up to the final chorus and Chris Scott's voice has an immaculate impact.
The only issue is that the lyrics themselves are very repetitive and don't really express the concept with an attractive attitude. The language used portrays a very blunt diction which degrades the emotive quality of the piece.
For example "you'll be standing where I gaze" is repeated many times despite the fact that it does not contribute much to the emotive quality of the piece. I advise that you study various poetical techniques to gain an understanding of how to make the lyrics in your songs to evoke a significant emotional response from the listener.
I'm intrigued by that excerpt in the end of the song with that informative voice narrating over the outro. Is that a sample taken from another source or did you create those words and put them through some special program that spits it out in that voice?
I am also interested to know if the concepts expressed in this song have some significance with you personally, I am conducting an analysis on this song for english in the area of study, discovery.
Same feeling bro, just changed from Pyromite to Hertz Fidelity and I hope to go professional once I'm out of the hole of misery called the HSC. All my tracks are just miserable at the moment as a result.
What happened to you? After playing your songs on my speaker at scout camps I had thousands of scouts wanting to hear more of your stuff, but there was a long, deafening silence emanating from your looperman profile. Need to get the word out that 7venthsense is now Recluse.
Also in your journey to become a professional artist, please do not lose your integrity in the composure of your music like Flume did. He makes too much ear porn now just to drive the marketing of his songs.
ahhh...this is huge...unbelievable production in all level...vocs, the humble music under it, the mix (though that 2 noted 'steppin up' synth is a bit loud, I think in the chorus)...all in all, wish you a very good luck in helllll :-)
I love the track and the vocalist is amazing! Would you be interested in submitting it to be used in a web series that I am currently writing? It really would be awesome if all involved with this project would allow me to use it.
Awesome to hear that your goal is to go professional, I hope to get there someday too! I'm liking the chill vibes here, sounds very well mixed. Look forward to hearing more music in the future from you and I hope you're able to grow as an artist. For tips on that, I'd recommend checking out Heroic Academy, I've learned a lot from their mixing and music marketing tips. https://heroic.academy/
Also, what's your SoundCloud and social media so I can follow you?
I'm speechless! This track is so beautiful. Like others stated this one definitely belongs on the radio. I'm just upset I'm just now finding this one. Keep up the amazing work and I hope to hear more like this from you in the future.
