Just because you made the loop from your own instruments doesn't mean it is not infringing I just had a conversation about this issue with loops in general with a friend yesterday that is an LA entertainment attorney. It is not just the recording that is protected it is the composition itself. and when you said why did I contact a member umm this is me contacting a member lol I assume you think I should have contacted you privately for some reason.
Dude this is copyrighted material by "audiomachine". Just because you made the loop, if you are not the composer it cannot be used by any of us. Over a thousand people have downloaded including myself and I made the coolest song before realizing this is someone else's work. It is not and cannot be royalty free which is what this site is for! I'm totally bummed and this is how people are going to get into legal hot water.
First of all, i am a member of audiomachine. I know all the people that work with me and I know this is totally fine. Second, you're mistaken it is "copyrighted". There is no copyright on compositions. The track Guardians of the gate itself, that's copyrighted. But I made this piece all by myself and gave the credit i had to give to the original creators by naming the original title. I made this with my own instruments. It is completely legal to download and use it.
I just used this loop and a couple others of yours in a song i uploaded called "our deliverance" sweet little loop that takes me back to the 70s listening to styx :-)
I just used this in a track i posted called Misty. when i was searching for a loop to use in this spot i didn't even listen to this one because it was a lead and so i didn't think it could fit in to the place i used it but eventually i went though every loop in my guitar folder thinking i must be thinking in too limited of a way and this little gem fit right in to a most unexpected song.
