You'd either want to make your 808s follow the low notes of your melody, or just hit with the kicks. 808 slides are a nice addition, but not all the time, because sometimes it sounds just like the slide is there for the sake of it. Production is just a long journey of trial and error, so if you keep playing with it, you'll eventually get it bro. Good luck

Really good for a first attempt, but on this site people generally prefer faster paced drums. Look forward to seeing more trap loops from you :)
