Hey thanks Mark for the comment...yeah I have to agree a little more variation would of done wonders for this piece. I may continue to work on some more tweaks with this...thanks for listening! Peace B)
nice ambience....the percussion really takes it in a different direction (in a very good way)...a bit of jungle...a good helping of natural soundtracky kind of feel....the processed/robotic kind of vocal bit seems unusual...some more of those vocal bits by Janis71 would really seem more in order (but I`m biased...she has such a great voice)...very interesting mix...and thats always good to be able to say when the airwaves are so full of canned stuff....well done Dan.......Ed
Hey man, loving the ambient vibes from this piece. Some of the melodies could be changed and altered to make them more tasteful. As well as making a change to the box robo voice in the background because it does not really fit in with the whole "nature" vibe of the track.
Really weird track but hey keep being you! Rico L.
Hey thanks for the listening Rico...yeah I kind of like making weird and unique tracks. That kind of explains the robo voice in the background. Besides the robo voice and ambient synth the instruments are live so a can't do to much changing there. Thanks for the comments! Dan B-)
hi. I love that background ambiances. A truly funky groove, it sounds very tribal at parts even. Definitely a tropical track. I can recognize Janis's vocals at 0:25. Very cool and creative work, congrats. Alex
Hey thanks Alex! Appreciate the comment and showing the love for this track. Yep...that definitely is Janis voice at the beginning. I feel like a jerk that I forgot to give her props. :( Anyway thanks for the listen. Peace
Not what I'm use to hearing from you, normally it's a nice neat package everything perfectly placed...This is the otherside of the coin, the groove is moving in different directions in a very romantic kinda way...
Hey TG. Good to hear from you my friend. Yeah I owe all the work to Billy with his spoken word. I just put my two cents worth in with the music. Thanks a lot for the comment. Peace.
Hey this is pretty cool! I do enjoy the trap style, and have been forming my own offshoot of the genre, so I appreciate when someone does something different with it. People were telling you to tune the vocals to the music, which I think is a bad idea... I'd recommend tuning the music to the vocals, since they are already recorded. You'd have a more natural feeling overall this way. Just a thought. Any way, I really enjoyed the song. One thing I noticed is that there seems to be some clipping going on, which is especially noticeable around 2:16. Seems to continue after that point too. Might want to check the mix/master/mp3 conversion as it could have been induced at any of those points. Just trying to help. Cool style, I dig it! Fave!
Hey thanks Spiv for the comments and suggestions! Yeah I can't seem to eliminate some of the clipping going on. Thanks for faving this my friend and peace out! B)
This is a good track but you need to bring the levels down a bit as there's quite a bit of heavy distortion going on in the bass department. The riffs are really good and you have some great idea but i'm sure if you just dropped the master a couple of notches it would sound much better. I do like the sound selection though, it's very new school. Glad i dropped by for a listen. FR
Never heard this kinda music...is it trap? well...I believe...sensational piano and key work...but I too hear stg out tuning from the vocs...or it has to be like this?
Hi danke, thank you for the compliments on the keys! Yeah this is trap but not the traditional trap you hear on this site. This is more chill trap. It's probably the first one produced on looperman but if you go to sound cloud and follow EDM.com Trap you will hear a lot of chill trap songs as well as the traditional trap on that site. As for the vocs on this track I believe she recorded it that way. I guess it didn't really flow well with the music as I had intended. Thanks again for listening and the comments! Peace out! Dan
Thanks for this, first time I heard it with music. I did try to put music to it but the music was just not coming right but this just captures it. Timeless and yet prophetic, it's awesome.
At 27secs, there is a distinct separation, perhaps could be blended in smoothly. Yeah, just tweak down the volume of the vox I would do but other than that, you got a timeless piece. Faved and will link this to from the acapella.
Thanks Billy for the encouraging words! Means a lot to me that you like this piece...and I must say you always do an awesome job with your spoken words! Yeah I will tone down the vox and tinker with this a little more before I feature it. Really appreciate the positive feedback! Peace my friend! Dan.
lol....No TG I take critiques and criticism very well. I'm always looking to improve my tracks so everyone's suggestions are a great help! Thanks for taking time to listen....and to answer your question...no I didn't. This started out as being a simple piano track that was written before I thought about adding vocals to it. I was just experimenting with Bonnie's vocals and only used bits and pieces of her song and tried to fit it in the music that was already written. So basically I guess you can say it was a trial and error thing. I used the same chord progression for Billydragon's spoken word that matches the music a little better. Oh well I guess it's back to the drawing board with this one. lol :D Peace my friend! Dan
Nice keyboard work, if I may say something though...!! Before you mixed her voice in, maybe you could've tuned it to the track a little closer... And the beat gets lost in the confusion of an out of tune voice and great keys...
Love the piano here! But trap is probably not my cup of tea because I really don't get this song. Not sure but something sounds off beat occasionally - at 1.08 for instance when the clap comes in and forward a bit. But that could also be just trap as far as I know. =D
It's a cool song and you really made Bonnie sound like a needy sex maniac here. That has to be good for the biznezz. ;)
Hi SJ! I'm doing fine my friend. Yeah making these type of songs takes an acquired taste. Most trap songs are of the urban hip hop type of genre...however this more of a laid back chill out/ trap hybrid. I think you maybe on to something with the clap....i'll have to tinker with this some more. Good hearing from you and I hope all is well. Peace......Dan. ^____^

Very different and nice. I love the piano!
I have not much to add other than you could work on the dynamic range and make the track better http://turnmeup.org/
