Where do you get those machine like synths?

    kennydjctxmckenzie
    Reply by kennydjctxmckenzie

Actually a darn good question sir! im literally going to have to go into the flp to answer that one "shall do that tonight when im at the production laptop" now EITHER!!! as i like to try to incorperate looperman samples n loops only in my work as ive enjoyed this site alot OR as i make up so many synth sounds and midi i can never remember whats a sample and what actually rolling on VST lol so ill check but if it was one of my actual synth work ups it would have been done like this "as i always set it out like this for sound scapes like this" the synths on this track will be done with massive or harmor, "but i reckon if it is my work "massive" then i added grossbeat to give it the sequence and slowed the synths down, so even though the track feels a decent speed the synths are actually stretched to give that rough sound but half the speed [like i say will check up tonight] and if it was a sample i found on here ill let you know :) as i wrote this earlier this year so im a bit brain farted on the make up but almost all my work will have massive/harmor within just becuase they are so adaptive to use and easy to work with in grossbeat as its something i use alot for step work, and if not that synth then which one hahaha? they are all pretty industrial sounding "which the rest" were defo done in massive :)

    Reply by kennydjctxmckenzie

Thx!! yeh i feel ya on that ;) if you notice int he first secton the beats were perfect but on after the roll into the break i drop in a harder beat "layered" which has the attack/snap in the eq and yep i reckon your right it defo took the beat to hard as it was ment to be a more atmos vibe rather than "offt oofft ooftt" lol ive actually got the track set up in aanother variance changing up the synths to hard synths as i was planning on doing a harder version and im wondering do you think the dual kick would suffice on a harder version? i was thinking of beefing it up but now that we have determined its a hard dual kick set up im wondering if i should even bother changing it and use it in the harder version along witht he new sequences/synths? :)

It's funky, I have to say!
And wtf those vocals scared the shiz out of me xD in a good way ofcourse :3

The constant percussion makes the track much more groovy.
Oh, that saxophone, is that DVS Sax? If it is, we have the same plugin xD

    Great track! Cheers!

yes mate it is dvs :) its the best "raw sounding" sax ive come across which allows decent effecting upon it ;) lol the vocals are saying "get your fucking hands off" chipmunk style lol :) thx for checking it out mate!!!

Wow! This track absolutely made my day. :)
It is a fun track indeed, loved that opening
And since I'm a sucker for melody you provided that with the sax riff which really
works well in this tune. This is not what I was expecting when I think of house. And I of couse mean that in the highest praise.
Just a wonderful track and a joy to listen to.

    Best Regards

Loved this. My only(very Minor) complaint as it might be just a eeny tiny bit overcompressed, but the bass is phenomenal as well as the atmosphere of this one. Percussion is awesome. This belongs on a dance floor somewhere. And that sax is sublime. Love the breakdown dj ending. Great job. Fav'd

Ah that would probably be the final limiter, your right i did push it a little and forgot id did some cut and boost in the low end which will be causing that over do, that mate ;) im doing an extended more complicated version (with sax etc) so will smooth the eq off a little to bring down that over compression :)

It's a good song, and I like it , but it feels a little too repetitive. I wouldn't change the drums (the hats) into something different, but maybe have a different variation on the pattern it is in or introduce some more drum types. Maybe have a little less of the siren too.

Anyway, this is a good track overall, and I like how it is done!

Very nice track m8! Great arps and the pad is very smooth. Personally I should delete the first drums in the intro.(only keep the last sub). It makes teh drop harder. But the drums and rythm after the drop is really booming! I love the short break on 3:35(ish). Maybe you could make a short hook there to keep it interesting. Nevertheless a great track and obviously made with passion!

    Hi!
It's a very great track. The Hats, Kicks, anf other percussions mixes well and stands out for the whole track. That (arp?) from the start to the finish of the song gets me hahaha it's a fun, hardcore-like track. I would like to ask, what's the BPM of the song? I bet it's more than 150.

Hi mate :) its an old FM sound which i thought why not have a bit of mad pitch fun ;) lol yeh it does sound fast but would you believe its actually closer to 140 (142 precise) its the combonation of percs and synth that gives it an edgy faster vibe, done another track using the same synth in a more trancier way which i put up today ;), thx for stopping by and glad you liked!!!
    Thx from Kenny...

Hi there, thx for checking out and glad i could sway you into liking ideas ;) its most certainly has that hard edge as i focused the kicks more forward than i normally would and gave the eq work a bit more beef as they say to be more of the main focus in the ear while everything is bouncing around it :) once again many thx for checking out my work :)
    Thx from Kenny,..
