    Hi there, looperman's back now & really enjoying the new site, quite a lot of interesting sounds in this, the fact that the voices have an echo gives it a more spooky feeling, enjoyed listening, good track, reminds me somehow of " Lord of the Rings ";

    So awesome sounding dude. I love all the synth sounds you used in this song. Very sick drive to them. Drums are pretty straight forward and your vocals are top notch. Perfect levels and wicked effects on them. Overall a complete masterpiece. Great work man.

    Sick beat, I love the samples and the synths(I may sound repetitive but I speak the truth)Kind of has a KMFDM feel to it. The only thing that bugged me was that there wasn't more riffs. I mean as good as the guitar is I thought there could have been more. Good work my man.

    to my ears it sounds like ebm with a slight touch of old-school industrial, good old mid-to-end-80ies. I personally would support the hard synth saw bass line with a continuous smooth low-pass filtered bass sound, adapted to its pitch/harmony; this way you get an overall darker sound, of course only if this is wanted.
    The refrain part is outstanding, I really really like it. The synth work at this part is great.
    While listening the track I can hear the proper vocals like from front242 or similar in my mind, ehehe.

    more vocal volume on this track, maybe even more lungs on the vocalist part, sounds like they could sing it better louder, but there holding back, volume wise, the vocals are hiding behind the rest, should be leading other than that mix wise is sounds pretty good

    Alright that settles it. We need to collab sometime. Truly magnificent. This reminds me of a band called Under Midnight (dont try looking them up, you wont find them anywhere) and they were a fantastic 90's industrial Christian band. The lyrics sound just like them and you have all the same elements. Which is a great compliment. This is truly fantastic. Fav'd. -Gabe

Now back to the music. I was a little afraid in the beginning, wondering if it was gonna be like that the whole time. And dont get me wrong it was good but not something that could stay that way. Once it kicked in i was very pleased. Then it slowed back down and so on and so forth. It was excellent. Great job and keep up the good work! -Gabe

    I know that a lot of people say to turn up the vocals but i disagree. Some songs sound good with low volume vocals, and personally i love it the way it is. Not really too rough, interesting sounds. An interesting mix of heavy and light sounds, pieces together perfectly though. A few seconds after the 3 minute mark it gets a tad repetitive, i would switch the drums up during that part. overall excellent track. -Gabe

    thanks for the review, Gabe. i'm glad i'm not the only one that prefers my vocals a bit more in the mix, heh. but i do think that with some eq trickery, i can add some more clarity to them, giving the illusion of more volume, but without sacrificing my mix. at least in theory=) it's been suggested by RawHead that i ramp up the finale of the song and i'm in agreement, so that 3min mark of repetition won't be in the next revision=) thanks for the listen and your thoughts, i appreciate it.

    Wake up your vocalist, this song kicks ass!
    The synth sound and the e-guitar are a very good match.
    I have following idea to this song: The synths an the e-guitar are fighting a duel... artifical sound(synths) versus "natural" sound(guitar)... so there could be a dark robotic voice(vocoder) representing the synth side(artificial intelligence), versus the human voice of your vocalist representing the natural/human side(natural intelligence), doing a battle with appropriate lyrics.
    Maybe a strange idea :D.

    man, you're preaching to the choir, but you know how singers are, haha. that's a really interesting idea you got about the vocals. we've titled the song 'rehab' and so the i'm pretty sure the lyrics while be a layered mix revolving around addiction and unrequited love, so i think your suggestion just take root here. i try to treat vocals like another instrument adding to the mix and movement of the song as a whole, so i'm not opposed to just processing the hell out of a few takes, heh. neither is my vocalist, we're fx junkies, lol, so i'm sure he'll love this idea too. thanks, man, you'll definitely know how the whole experiment turns out!

    thanks for the compliment, man! ya know, one of the things i love about composing, especially electronic based music, is you can find a balance between thinking through what works for a track and just letting go and letting the music work itself out. then at the end of the day, you take the whole thing and try to piece it together to maximum effect. i believe in emotional music and it's no use trying to force it, you'll just end up with mush. i really appreciate the compliments, man, i'm gonna work on getting some more tracks finished and online.
