Deep House it is. Nice track. Vocals work well. I love the counter point synth in another key. Drum line could have more impact. That's a mixing and compression issue (I'm learning that stuff now). I agree with some of the other reviews on the female vocal at the end in that I think the piece could be longer and you could work that out longer but overall a Deep House piece should almost be somewhat ambient in my opinion. Good job.
Yeah,...nice track. I'd have to say that this track kinda reminded me of Incubus. Especially the beggining with the scratches. Good stuff! Kudos to you on the new track!
lol...that was before all the changes came to the loop. we were able to download, review and fav our own tracks...back in 2007..thanks for the review..i know i need to post more stuff.
I really enjoyed the beats you chose. The eclectic mix of sets combined with the really clean bass thumps and the light scratching keeps the song interesting. It ends too soon! I wanted to keep listening... I'd love it if you finished the track out.
If you're looking to get reviews, I think the best method is to just review other people's work. I'm sure I'm not the only member who tracks back and listens to the songs reviewers have posted. The more insightful/thought out your reviews, the greater chance you'll have of getting some lovin' back from people.
EDIT: I was sort of responding to the thing you said to bear about needing to promote your music. Didn't mean to sound preachy or anything like that. My bad.
Thanks for the comment, however i listen and review at my leisure, I am not here for the reviews..points etc..that is why i only have 4 tracks uploaded..I am a busy person and handle my business accordingly.. i review who i want too, when i want.. Smile..Thanks again for review..peace..
i actually prefer this trak to ure others, but hey its all about personal prefence... that synth line/bass really floated ma boat... i love the outtro would of liked to of heard it more in the middle of the track ina breakdown and u could really utalise that part and milk it for all its worth, it didd sound like it was a different track just about to be mixed into the track so even to do a little megamix of three tracks mixed into each other ... i see ure using ableton live so this would be ideal for this purpose. i maself have just got ableton with a controller for mixing tracks live and i know of peps going from making a single track into mixing several tracks together in the same session almost like a LIVE SET...but hey im sure you've got ure own vision concerning ure own music...
great track and well put together, one to get all the girlies in their groove and the boys to get in theres
Hi FreshAyer, I really dug your track, I do agree however with Krook on the waiting for something else to kick in part. Overall though I really loved your concept. The Marshall Jefferson vocal loops fit nicely within the track, great job. Peace, D.
