When I was a kid, my family owned a Plymouth Fury with a big ass engine in it, what a boat! lol
I like the idea, a little lost in reverb or sounds recorded from a mic some distance away from the playing but I like the intensity you got going on. Reminds me a little of Nashville Pussy.
why? cuz one hoser is BUTTHURT by the TRUTH? BLOW IT OUT OF YOUR POMPOUS FILTHY @$$H*L&. NO END. NO FALSE METAL. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1E-dDTS3vco keep lookin up.
just because religious ppl can tend to be brainwashed doesnt mean evryones ignorant and unaware. pretty annoying and horribly made song man. find something more productive to do than knock ppl with faith. at least christians make better music than you lmaoooo
Re: "just because religious ppl can tend to be brainwashed doesnt mean evryones ignorant and unaware." i never said that crap. i was simply stating FACTS. do the RESEARCH. the FACT is that a rather disturbing Number of my fellow Christians have SCALES on their damn eyes.
Re: "pretty annoying and horribly made song man." your personal Narcissistic and Pompous Preferences are Irrelevant and far from "Constructive Criticism"....a suprisingly frequent and alarming Characteristical trait of many "Christians" i come across....alas.
Re: "find something more productive to do than knock ppl with faith." you misunderstood the Lyrics completely. narrow is the Path etc....
Re: "at least christians make better music than you lmaoooo" ROTFL i think NOT. https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/204358 i dont know who or WHAT you think you are dealing with, but betchya i know who and what you are NOT DEALING WITH (re: all that shyte you spewed up there). as a newly re-awakened Christian i find your Comments both ignorant and mildly insulting. so many of you just dont get it; but i say to you THIS....when HE ROLLS BACK THAT FIRMAMENT, get it you SHALL. together with your Brother or your gonna DIE.
i think i can shed a little light on this...for Plymouth Fury, the music is simply a method of delivery of the signal. is akin to a satellite signal with another hidden signal embedded in it (see the movies "Videodrome" and "They Live" for some more extreme examples of THEM pushing our faces right into what they are doing)...we keep it simple and hypnotic cuz it seems to be the best method of absorption by the Subconscious Mind of the message, thus using the tools of the Government against them. the music is the vessel which allows delivery of the signal on a sub-concious level.
hi again. listening to this I had an impression I am actually experiencing something very similar to what I heard few days ago. All that 'I am the One, as YOU are also' sounds pretty nondual-flavoured to me. Are you a spiritual devine being on here? Or maybe only a spiritual teacher.
Only I can say is that my approach is quite different (but I tried reversed vocals as well when working on some dnb remix few months ago). Here it sounds like reversed but still I can understand the words so it is a kind of reversed-reversed.
Again: your tracks are way too painful for my ears (maybe check out one of mine - there's a lot of space and dynamics in there).
This sounds really good. But to me the levels are way to high and I get a lot of crackling on my speakers. Definitely must tweak the mix if you still can. Other than that I like where this track is going !
yeah i been meaning to do something bout that for the longest time but now that i got my good ol laptop up n running again i can maybe remi it if i can find all the trax
I can see where you was going with this I like the idea, but it needs some work on the mixing, I can hear distortion on the low bass for example, you don't want any effects like delay, re-verb, distortion, flangers anything like that on low bass it really muddies it up, and yeah like the guy before said you need to layer your bases I normaly only use 2 layers, one with a high cutoff of 30 - 40 htz and the a low cutoff of about 200 - 300 with it lowered a little close to the low bass region, and with the high bass going from 200-300 cutting off at 16,000 htz. and then the eqing inbetween is all down to preference, your kick needs a compressor to make it stand out and side chaining with the basses (sometimes I'm naughty and side-chain everything just a fraction) ;) finally I would shorten it to about 2+ mins, dubstep is known for being repetitive so it's best to keep it short and sweet if there isn't much variation, if you do all of this in your future mixes you're onto a winner because I can hear what you were trying to accomplish and you're definately on the right track :)
i think i see what you mean...thing is the distortion was put in there on purpouse, i wanted to make everthing go BZZZZT....interesting take on it tho, if i can find the original tracks im gonna try some a u guys ideas and reload it...thankee-sai for the encouragement...im working on new stuff now that the album is finished (well, this tune was going on it but now i think ill wait) so look forward to some more uploads coming...stay tuned Brothers and Sisters, the Revolution WILL BE TELEVISED donald-marshall.com
some nice ideas...for me the distortion should be toned down in places... some of the volume rises aren't need really..
your basses are a little thin.. I would make three instances of the basses EQ one to sub ..one to mids and one the high end.. that way you should get a bigger sound and then you'd need less distortion...
maybe try side chaining your bass compression with the kick so it will duck when the kick hits ...also try taking the bottom end off that kick kill everything below 85hz because it's muddying up the low end...
with some small tweaks here and there this could be a banger and maybe shortening it might be a good idea too because I did get a bit bored after a while...
all in all some awesome ideas maybe just work on the post production..

This reminds me of aphex twin. Mostly because of the erieness and white noise stuff. Really cool track.
