Hey Steve. Nice to have you back again mate. As I said before, mate What a gem, mate. It is out of this world I love it. Great chill. BTW. I made this too. https://youtu.be/8aQsxLMVntM Well done mate. Maj
What an epic, huge-sounded song. It could be easily cinematic too, but who cares the genre ... great progressivity, sacred drums and that cool groovy ... welcome back ... fistbump, Danke
That's bloody awesome Beerling! The drums were already a great intro and I was immediately hooked. You have a good balance between the parts with the booming drums and the bits without, to give the listener some rest. The only tiny minor thing you could look at is that your drums sound absolutely authentic while the key/synth parts sound a bit electronic; if it's midi you might find some that might fit even better. But don't get me wrong, that would just be the final 1% and I fav'ed the track. Great job!
big intro...the vocal sounds good in the mix..big heavy metal for sure..got my rock fix for the day now..think my hair is growing back (HaHa). Too bad you lost the project but what you have sounds good to me..See you are due for a new upload one of these days too...haven`t been on LM much lately myself due to personal circumstances but we poke our noses in once in a while..Hope all is well over your side of the pond..cheers..Ed
This is beautiful cooking with loops. Very nice warm, relaxing sound. All elements working so well together. Also like your willingness to play around with so many genres with all these tracks.
great song ... fantastic arp for the intro, big, epic, super vocals, cool guitar sound, nice mixing ... I would reconsider the drums, I miss the constant theme like AC / DC hammering ... :-) fistbump, Danke
Nice work - I particular like when the guitar sounds come in around 40 seconds and then even better at around 60 seconds - great sound. Not seen keen on the runs on the toms with the drums but hey you never got to finish it so we are stuck with it now. Great vox! There's a lot more to like than to dislike in this one : )
I hate it when that happens, and you forget to save and lose everything. I feel bad for you, but I'm happy you at least have the mp3 for it even if it's not the finished version. The track itself is great as is. The vocals are high quality and top-notch stuff, quite impressive, and the instrumentation around it only adds to that. Is that you singing? Regardless, great work.
Rocking tune my friend! Good vocal to fit with the mix of musical elements! Dark yet uplifting. Sorry to hear about your DAW crashing before finishing this song... if it helps, it sounds pretty finished to me. Again, sorry about the late response.
There's nothing wrong with this effort. Good mix and arrangement. Dynamic repeatability, to me and breath control, are two of my pet peeves. This had them and that's composition 101. Lyrics, vocal acuity, topic are spot on. Head and shoulders above what I've heard on this forum. Please keep em' comin' beerling1970 Peace and good health DDC
I did just what your description said and it worked. Relaxed and appreciative of the composition. Has a Tubular Bells feel but in a different more positive vibe and a cool vibes sound to it. Very well put together, I enjoyed it!
It is easy to forget you have been at this for less than a decade, but damn, you really do have a knack for composition and sound engineering. I do look forward to another one from you. Let me know when you get something done. Outstanding effort (the mix is sterling on this). I hope all is well Steve.
From one Steve ( The greatest name ever) to another, the intro is sublime. Ohhh! I love the upwards chord changes sliding up the scale. Really tasteful arrangement so far. The plucks and the dynamic stereo mix is awesome. Well done chill tune! I really like this one.. great job. Cru! Favd
Lovely bells in the intro. Nice synth work. Has a "I've finally arrived at a realization" kind of a feel to it. Quite a lovely, if not low key track. Kudos.

One for Gaia! Love the vibe of this, I'm a fan of 'world' music and this has that feel. Mountain music.

I really like that screaming guitar around the 2:15 mark, very cool. Vocals have a Geddy Lee feel to them. Has a big production sound, rumbling toms.
Sorry to hear you didn't get to save it. I've learned from years of doing this to continually save your session as you are working on it.
Cool track!
