I think this track could potentially sound really great. The melodic elements sound great, and I especially like it from 1:17. That slightly off beat pluck synth adds a lot of character, and it's a section that adds dynamics to the track, going from quiet to loud, quiet again, then the big impact at 1:50.
The main problem I have with this is the mix. It's compressed waay too much. It sounds like all the different sounds are fighting for room in the mix instead of complementing each other like they should be.
If I have any advice, I'd say don't worry about the song being too quiet. Don't get suckered into the loudness war. It just needs to sound good. Anyways, good work here.
i like this, its really clean sounding, and even if you think you've made 'flaws' in the song i would keep them in, sometimes in my instrumentals (usually ones i don't let people rap on) where i've messed up, (and it sounds well,) i'll keep it in the song, either way keep rocking with your style its really nice & original
This is a really good song that seems like it may have sat around in the ol' DAW a few to many days...weeks...? What i mean to say is that it seems like perhaps you got bored or just didn't know what to do with it and decided to throw on a copy of the Traktor 12 FX found in guitar rig, and just go to town. the first few instances of the gate fx felt like they belonged there and really brought a cool twist to the then sounding great instrumental, but by the 2 1/2 min mark i was like ok this guy is just fucking around on this beat, cause nobody is gonna try n lay down a verse to a beat that is chopped so deep and so often. Still sounds dope but those where just my thoughtS. Cheers
Good work! I feel this. Maybe too much on the reveerb maybe not use every snarehit 1:40. Sounds like the rest of the mix is hiding behind it. Apart from that this is super nice.
Interesting tribute to the 8 bit era of entertainment. Like how you can hear the 8b in it while it is recycled into a modern style. Kept the listen repeating for me, good start. Slo Mo feel. Thanks for sharing. Keep at it, Peace.

When female vocal comes in, it clips a lot at that part bruh. The beat is dope, but when that vocal came in, the distortion was too much.
