man, you rock. the melodies/harmonies combined with the vocals are very well chosen. again that mix sounds so good on my headphones. great balance of energy and clarity. masterfully crafted
hallo Soap this is fantastic, what a pleasure to listen to. really impressive arrangement and mixing, exactly my gusto. while listening i was already looking to listen to more of Yahaliii's vocals but alas i couldn't find anything by that name. maybe renamed or deleted, you know something?
Lovely. That's a fantastic vocal too. There's something funky at the end though, after say 2:52. The outro is a bit weird, and then there's 1.5 minute of silence it seems? I would consider taking the last 8-16 bars of the chorus and repeating it with a fade out, or using the vocal for a proper ending. Good luck man, lovely track!
Man this one takes me back. I think I had a cold when I did this. Haha. But you have captured the positive vibes and taken them to another level. That bass is sounding real good, and when it comes back in at 3:49! Yeh yeh yeh. :-) Man am I gonna download this and crank it up in my car...I'm gonna play it right after Move Your Car. Hehe. Great work Chris!!!!! You never disappoint! My granddaughter and I were dancing last week to Tryin Not To Fall, now we can dance to this.
Well, what can one say that hasn't already been said. Your work is always top notch! Any vocalist would be proud to be wrapped in this rock! Awesome job to you both! Glad to see you back up and running. :-)
You did such a great job on this. Yes, her vocals and tone are spot on, however the instrumentation you wrapped around them is killer. So polished and professional. Building a melody around an acapella can be one of the hardest things to do without a good ear, and you certainly have one, which is a gift.
Loved how this got dark and almost James Bond-cinema like at 1:01. I was nodding my head and listening close to everything you put into this. Like a great chef, you didn't neglect anything, even the ending was dramatic and mood altering.
I live for this. Bravo, and its an automatic fave for me.
I downloaded this tonight, I'm gonna share it on my profile as well. It's still a GREAT piece of art. Everyone can't write muzic in reverse, but you nailed this!!!!! Thanks again. :-)
I didn't see anything recent, so I'm listening to this one which got far too little attention. Sounds pretty sweet. Think I'm going to smoke that other bat now. ahhh that's better... I'm liking the rap a bunch. One thing I'm noticing in the beat is the "tops" (high hat and snare) have a bunch of artifacts like they are low quality mp3 or time stretched too far. I think I'm just getting picky, as I've been moving back to mostly vinyl and cassette for listening. Other parts sound better though. Trippy filter synth effects in parts of this track! Good to listen to one of your tracks again, and I hope you'll drop something frrrrresh soon. Well done!
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! This is just so back and forth head bopping. I LOVE IT. Of course Bonnie is always good! This could be a theme song for a tv show. It also has a sort of neosoul feel, I can picture this live. Great job!
