Hey there WeaverBard....I love listening to work that has come straight from the composer...unadulterated and without premeditation!lol ..there's some superb shades here and the melancholic feeling is strong throughout,a seasonal piece...the Brass and Strings work so well together..I don't know if I'm enjoying more the fact that I've found a Classicist here on looperman or the composition itself....You and Scriptique (alas she seldom appears now)would hit it off together no doubt...Excellent! cheers Planet
Def some talent here! Can't offer too much by way of criticism as the music style is not really a genre i dabble in. Very score-like music I wud say and easy on the ears. Good job.
Fragile and powerful at the same time. I imagine watching a film, film location in Venice, Italy, shadows appearing and vanishing. What happend to the girl that you cant see, only guess that she lived here and something happened to her love.
One of the best works I ever listened to heard here at looperman. Great Work! Excellent.
The theme is fantastic, and you knew making me very attentive to this musical saga .... . but just a minor complaint if I could. The VST you use for the violins, is not very realistic. Lack of envelope, and clarity, very garish.... I think you would have the user "strings ensemble" on the side, to soften and refine. By cons, brass (Basson and others) are of great depth. But here it is an improvisation, and the work you have done is of good quality, as a whole, and proof of your talent .... Respect. Also this is only my humble opinion ....
Ohh yeah now this can easily drift into cinematic. In my opinion it's a bit dry for such a track, and I think that a touch of reverb would help glue the things together.
Very very cool tho, there is a lurking emotional charge in there and I like how the whole track revolves around that feeling...letting out bits of hope here and there.....quite impressive.
As I've said it could easily go in a movie without any problems. Fabulous effort. Faved!
I can not compare, but from memory, with the drums lighter, it seemed better .... But the concept remains, wonderful, and music at the top. It really is a fantastic track my friend, and I salute yet your genius, your talent.
Wonderful arrangement and composition. Beautiful vocals. What more can I say? other than it's a magnificent piece of music and I really enjoyed it! Peace and respect faved for sure.
Thank you for your forthright comments. I agree that the beats were the weak part of that mix - I got lazy and used straight loops - I have now revised this track with an all original rhythm track. It's much improved I think. Thanks again and Enjoy!!
Hello my Friend .... Pardon the expression, but "I'm on the ass" when I am listening. (French-speaking, when we feel something strong, and impressive). A fantastic time. The voice is extraordinary of purity and sensuality .... that you have set to music in a masterful way.
Excellent for me .... Je suis vraiment Fan .... and Fav. of course.
Really amazing. A delight from start to finish. The journey through this song is amazing. Everything perfect, from the voices of even the smallest sound. Thanks for putting your music in Looperman.
