2:13 love the breakdown to that Pad. There was a tune that Sly & Robbie did back in 99 called "zen Concrete" This song reminds me a small bit of that ethos. Which also when I mix this tune with that tune works quite well together. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yhVyw75Alg&html5=1 Cru
Good job! And while I was listening to this track, I found it thought-provoking and distracting at the same time.. I also like the soundscape, it sounds beautiful.
Beautiful soundscape in the intro and outro, definitely could work in a film or video game. The section in the middle has such a great driving beat to it. I too think the mix sounds really nice....wide stereo field, with great balance and space for all of the instruments. This was definitely a well thought out piece.
I see you live in Austin. Great town with even better music. You are surrounded by great musicians. I'm assuming this is you on the bass on this one. If so, masterful job. Added to favorites. I hope all is well.
I`m just listening on my PC speakers this afternoon mpoppitt...but as far as I can tell the mix sounds nice and clean and nice to hear all the dynamics intact...sounds good to me...Ed
I can imagine a T-Rex sitting at the pads for this one but, the arms are so short they couldn't have hit them all lol.
Nice work here. That lead guitar synth is purely transcendental. I would have preferred the party last a little longer before the percussion kicked in but I digress, it's a dope track none the less. Looking forward to hearing more!
Very interesting track man, starts chill, transitions seamlessly up to a bass heavy track, named to catch people's eye, really a smart way to show off something great. Loved it all but feeling the basslines that start around 2:10 especially, wish they continued more but that's just to hear it more as the execution was well done, again, great listen and keep it up.
Thanks. It was longer when I was piecing it together, but I made the executive decision not to make it 10 minutes long. i streamlined it into a short psychedelic groove.
