i looooooove this. the guitar sounds great, which makes me jealous because i have no good way to record mine. it has that great feel that makes you think of rustic colors and urban decay. i'd listen to this as is, even if it's just a preview. awesome job.

Thanks alot man! I actually sampled this from a buddy of mine, it took a damn long time to get it to loop right but when it did I thought it worked out great. Btw CFactor what do you produce your music with? All the tracks I've heard from you are gold, I dig your style.

First of all, I think you have the makings of an excellent track here. I'm definitely no music expert but it seems that you transitioned or transposed to a different key and it stayed there for the remainder of the song. That was cool and all, but I feel you should have brought it back to the original key. I definitely understand adding variety is key but you gotta bring 'em back home. I hope you understand what I'm getting at....like I said I'm no music expert by any means...

Thanks man. Yeah I understand what you're saying and I completely agree, I just threw it together in one night cause I wanted to get some opinions from people on the loop on the general feel for the song. Thanks for taking time and listening to my song :)

Me as well I'd love to put some vocals in but I've got loads of other projects in mind; this track is very different from the other hip-hop tracks I hear on this site. It's kind of jazzy, cinematic and hip-hop all at the same time. Some nice percussion in. There's only one little thing: the ending piano note finishes a bit too soon. Make it last longer and fade out so the songs story stays in the listeners head.
Whatever this track is nicely done and not much improvement's needed for this to be agreat song.

I agree man. I was just so focused on showing everyone what I had done in the past few days I forgot about the ending melody. Anywho, I'm revising it as we speak and I feel like everyone will enjoy the revised version a little bit more. Thanks for your input man.

    Hey wassup!
Yeah, I checked out the pen work on youtube... that was damn impressive. I have seen a couple cats do that kinda thing, ... Definitely dug that.

I dug the blues progression turned major that you used.
Definitely started grooving a bit more once ya thru the other beat on top of the other (which I always think is a good idea mixing two different rythmic variation)

Kinda curious as to what you use?
I think there's some things about whatever you are using that perhaps you should look into?

I would recommend experimenting with automation if you haven't already?

It's one of those things.. that after you "learn" automating tracks... your tracks just start to bloom. (endless possibilities and reiterations)

I definitely think you got something goin' for you.
    Keep it up!

PS total guess .. do you use FL?

Thanks alot man. Glad to hear someone appreciates my pointless talent :). Yes I've actually just recently discovered automation after making this track. And yes sir I do use FL. Thank you for the input!
