Had to leave a comment on this one too, I hope you log back on. But this one is trippy dark goodness bro, sick. Love that synth mixed in, sort of a minimal dubstep and more dub. Vibes are great stoned, oh yea definitely. Smoking right now, respect to one of the greats of the loop. Many of them are starting to resurface i forgot to mention. Excellent production bro! peace
P.S. We need to do another collab, production wise though, seriously.
Neo, aka GramoChopin, you did it bro. You brought me back. I was just going through my email and the word "looperman" caught my eye, I hadn't received anything looperman-ish in ages. Pretty awesome to see your review, thanks bro.
And I'd love to collab...just waiting on a new computer and will then carve out some me time so I can get back to my one true love. Thanks again for bringing the dead back to life.
You need to get the hell back on this site Dv8! This is Neobane btw aka InPSYcLe aka too many name changes. But this is my final name change. But yea you smoking bad mamma jama with this one. Nomad is spot on with this, Kingston vibes and really jam heavy. Love the bass! It's been pretty great around the loop lately, need to log back in bro. peace
Sparse indeed, but great. It has just enough elements to let the track shine, in a sublime, funky way. Reminds me of Dillon Francis' work. Keep it up bruh. Peace
EY THAT WAS A SICK BEAT RITE THERE..IM NEW TO THIS SITE AND I POSTED A TRACK YOU MITE LIKE..SONGS CALLED LIFE OF THE BLAZE AND FOR ALL THE STONERS I THINK YOU FEEL THIZ TRACK..CHECK IT OUT AND GIVE ME YOUR HONEST FEEDBACK
i appreciate the clarity of the elements, the placements of them also. creates and openness, paints an interesting picture. also like use of acoustic drum set along with the synth sounds. it works. keep going! regards
Thanks mate. Yeah, I was playing around with organic sounding drum tracks and electro synths back when I produced this track. The fusion is pretty intriguing, I must say. Cheers for the words, buddy.
Liking your D&B tracks is becoming a bit of a habit. Everytime I listen to one it's just excellent from start to finish. Your productions have really come on in leaps and bounds and I can't think of anything negative to say unless I go off on another tangent about david bowies latest release. Anyway, nuff said. This tracks a steamer! FR
lol man. Thanks for the love. haven't been producing much lately, but your comments and feedback are much appreciated. Gonna take some time out and work with sounds again.
Well since dubstep aint really my area i thought i'd come check out a D&B tune instead. I'm glad i did. This is excellent! It wouldn't sound out of place on the D&B arena cd i just PAID for. Makes me wonder why i bothered since i could have just got some tracks from you. FR
My friend, I really cannot understand why I'm the first person to review this track????
I really do like the chilled out, ambient, dubstep vibe that you've got going on here. I've been sat here listening to this piece, totally chilled! I think it's superbly arranged and produced, I really do! My only critique would be that it's a bit too long as it is!
Anyways, that's just my opinion which is irrelevant! Great piece of music my friend, and I'm really glad I got to listen to it!
Finally had a chance to sit back, smoke a bowl, and listen again! You're right this is best when stoned... haha! Still lovin this song! That bass is so cool! Anyway, thanks for creating a backdrop for my smoking pleasure!
Now this is my kinda dubstep! I know it's best when stoned, but I'm still waiting on my guy... ha ha! Love the subtle basses! Great use of delay! This is so groovy! Definitely DLing, thanks for sharing!
big up dv8 this tune is massive! skankin vibes are on point. only things i would point out are - reverb on the snare needs eqing higher so that it floats over the whole sound.. the mid range bass needs to sound slightly fatter, possibly use some distortion. but these are personal quibbles, great track :)
Thanks alot for the feedback man, glad you spoke up since no one else pointed anything out. I'll get back to it and re-work it for the next update. Thanks alot for the kind words, appreciate it!
oy OYE! It's the beatl! Glad you liked it mate, I've been off-DAW for a while and though I'd drop a fresh track to get my mind back to dub. Thanks man, always appreciate feedback from you. Looking forward to getting back on the loop and kickin it old school with my mates. Peace my friend!
friggin indeed. this is some kick ass dubstep right here. that "my synths will melt your grey matter" dubstep gets old. really happy to here it like this. solid. trippy, dark, really nice percussion, love the bass and the little growl it makes. dude, i can dig it.
Nice sounding mix, the only thing I will say is those vocals are used a bit too much, can you possibly try and vary them either in lower or higher tones or add some more vocals? because the tune itself is pretty good.
mmmmmmm i luv this track... those piano chords... set tha mood so nicely... and then WHOSE THA BAD MAN WTTH THA GANJA~~ YESSSSS IT'S ME~~~~~ I SHOUT AHAHAHAHAHA
i've reached nirvana now... thanks for reuploading Ussss~
